if my knowledge is correct when mopar took over it became dodge
then
dodge teamed up with mercedes benz and
mercedes bought dodge, or dodge bought mercedes im not sure which way it went but for awhile neons and a few other dodge vehicles had mercedes benz parts in them
dodge's are the most advanced as far as first gens go
but.......its still a

put whatever you drive up against a "neon" srt4 and see who laughs at the finish line
ohh my bad you wont see who laughs at the finish line b.c by time your car got there the srt would be miles past the finish line and still gaining speed while your hunk of junk would be blowing smoke and slowing down
