Unfortunately there will always be newbies posting questions in wrong places instead of getting their answers from reading the information that is freely available i see this **** all the time and it's really annoying however jumping down somebody's throat for doing the wrong thing could easily just scare him or her off.

This is a forum for dreadheads (and a few who aren't dreadheads *cough*jonsparrowwannaberasta*cough*), not just those who think it's all about flowers and sunshine and puppy dogs and love.
If someone is getting dreadlocks, they're going to run into discrimination/misunderstanding and even anger/hate over their choice. If they get "scared off" by a couple people telling them something they've already read (or should have already read) then they haven't a snowball's chance in hell in the real world with dreadlocks. It's something called "tough love" or "learning to swim by getting dropped in the middle of a lake".
