reasons for natural dreads
Natural Dreads...
natural life, natural selection is good, dreads are not bothering with outer beauty.
Prehistoric dreads happen because they were focused only on simplicity: hunting/gathering, ****ing, living, surviving.
Also, having dreads make dealing with mess of hair easy, and if it makes some badass looking head ****, why the **** not!
opinions, reactions... GO!

Ahh, the whole "natural" debate. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for minimal intervention, a.k.a. "neglect" but people can (and do) argue until the sun goes down (and up again) about what constitutes "natural". We are a product of nature, thus we are natural, thus anything we create, being derived in some form or fashion from the natural world, is natural.
What would be the counterpoint to "natural" dreadlocks? Supernatural dreadlocks? My dreads all have 7 heads and regrow instantaneously when one is cut off. MUAHAHAHA!

reason for dreads which i happen to be allowing to grow with a minimum of maintenance:
God made me, made me perfect, so why should i limit/thwart what this temple is able to do? it's me making salaat, giving praise and submitting myself to the will of my Creator, expressing my individual beauty regardless of the standards held by others.
besides, as i've posted before, i don't like combing/brushing my hair and my hair mats VERY quickly. it's easier and less expensive to let it do it's thing than to fight it just so i can be like everyone else. anything that i do to it, as i do to the rest of my body, is because I want to, not because someone else'd prefer if i did.

I very much agree. the only difference is that i'm not religious, but instead I think of the universe as the creator or higher force that made me how I am. 
but still the same idea.

I got natural locks cause thats wat i wanted an i thought they looked dope. aint no super spiritual reason behind the ****, you dig, i wanted dreads so i acquired them ****s, thats it.
