Re: relationships lust/love do we know the difference?
I think a lot of relationships are based on lust and excitement initially, the straight-from-the-movies kinda romance.
Maybe sometimes it lasts longer than other times but i feel that true, long-lasting relationships are built on love and full acceptance. The lust fades and real life does set in. This is just drawn from my own experiece of course.
I have been with Bri for 4 years now and our relationship has evolved in many ways. Its the real sh*t, sometimes scares the crap out of me as i am not the "settling" type and he just blew it all for me! But he prob saved my ass, if it weren't for him i'd be strung out in Mexico. Hehe, well, maybe not strung out but homeless and wandering the planet i am sure.
I think that in healthy relationships people are just there for each other, thats all, a listening ear, an exchange of positive energy, the ability to take the good with the bad...backrubs are good too
I think the most important thing is to be best friends, complete honesty and comfort. Hehe, we don't care, like for example, we don't have any doors and there's a wall missing on our bathroom right now (bush house reno in full effect) but we just don't care, we never take baths alone, hehe, save water
But i know people who are together and it is all based on appearances and everything has to be exciting all the time, going here, doing this, constant stimulation from the other person i guess.
I knew i was in trouble when the first time me and Bri met up we went to play
frisbee and then found 10 bucks on the ground we were able to get lunch with, hehe. Keepin' things simple and washing away expectations has worked and i'm gonna sound sappy here, but I'm in love!!!
Sorry for being windy, but my relationship advice for somethin' good...find someone who you can poop in front of!
Aahh, i'm gettin' all wild here...

Yes the difference between Lust and Love is very simple, love = happiness & loadsa cool stuff.
lust = thrills/ego/jealousy/envy/etc not so cool at the end of the day

Re: relationships lust/love do we know the difference?
good question, +k for that vibes!
I believe me and my girl are pretty genuinely in love, but I think a balance of lust/love keeps a relationship exciting. For the most part we go on a lot of dates, just hang out, w/e we feel like and that is when i feel like there is so much love between us. But sometimes we are both lustin and thats what keeps the fun in the relationship: The spontaneaty of the lust.
