Did Dreadbelly tell you that?
In 100g of avocado, there's between 1g and 2g of protein.
1 avocado (any variety) is generally 4.02g of protein.
In 100g of a roasted chicken, there's 23.97g of protein.
1 whole roasted chicken (bones removed) has 115g of protein.
Sources: USDA-HealtheTech Search software.
Sorry man, I believed it before too, but I looked it up and it's false. It has many good fats, but it can't be your main source of protein.

I made supper for the family tonight.
Fried brown rice in sesame oil to roast it a bit, then added water, let it cook. Sautéd mushrooms, onions, carrots, red peppers, garlic. I cooked pieces of chicken on the side, for my family (I didn't have any). Steamed some asparagus, sautéd it with butter, salt and pepper. When all was ready, I took a wok, put some olive oil in it, grabbed a scoop or two of brown rice, a scoop or two of my vegetable sauté, soy sauce, flax seed I had powdered just before (omega-3 oils in there! tastless too), salt and pepper, did my showoff by stirring (making it fly in the air and catching it back and ****)... put it on a plate, with asparagus on top. Family loved it, so did I. It was my first time cooking with brown rice too. Nice texture! Crunchier than white rice, definitly better for us too.
* I'm eating roasted peanuts and dates. Might have bugs in those dates, or so I've heard. Eh, protein :)

Brown rice should not be "crunchy" at all. Should have a slight "pop" as you bite the hull around the grain.

Well that's what I meant. A pop, not a crunch. Definitly feels "crunchy" compared to rice. But uh no... no crunch then.
I need to buy some wild rice. That's yummy too. Requires longer cooking though.

I love jasmine rice. Smells like popcorn when it's cooking.
