Today I had a subsitute in one of my classes. It was this old ass woman Mrs. Crump. She is always standing behind me in the hall way and staring at my hair with this awful look on her face, but never says anything to me and I act like I don't notice. I am always glad to answer people questions about my dreads, but I just get angry with people when all they want to do is criticize me.. about anything. Well I walk into my class today and there she is. I put my hair in a pony tail around the middle of the class to keep it out of my face while I am busy. I am walking out of the door of the class to go out side so I can have more space to do what I was doing, and she stop me and says "I like your hair much better while it is pulled back like that." I smile and nod trying to get out of the door. She grabs my arm and turns me around facing her and says" It doesn't scare me that way. Why would you want to do something like that to yourself?" I reply you wouldn't understand or respect my reasons for doing it, so I am no going to waste the time to tell you ( I try to leave again). "When are you going to start taking care of yourself? I just don't like your hair like that." I reply when are you going to stop being so judgemental, and quite frankly it doesn't matter if you like it or not. I'm the one living with it, if you do not like it, do not look at it ( storms out the door and slams it).

I hate that old *****

haha if I had a dollar for everytime someone gave me **** for my dreads I'd be able to buy myself some nice clothes and a house and a pony and a space station.
