I used to work the back room at wal-mart and I was always very paranoid about how the pallets were stacked (Not the sharpest people working the lifts!) more than once something would fall off of the top shelf. I can't believe backing into a support beam would result in such catastrophe.
I know someone dropped an entire pallet of pickles on a day I didn't work. You could smell it for awhile.
It was fun to play in the lower shelves. Not all merchandise goes out at once so I was able to make a small alcove out of some bottom shelf storage stock where I could sit and be left alone for awhile. I did the exact same thing with icing containers in the bakery dept come to think of it
