first, find a place to host your files, preferably a free one. www.photobucket.com is used by many if i'm not mistaken.
when making a post, click the "insert image" button, and paste the adress of the pic inte the field. the final line of text would look something like [img ]http ://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/username/picture.jpg[/img ]

In other words: once the picture is uploaded to where ever you put it right click -> properties -> and copy paste the URL listed in the properties dialogue window.

so 1st as ElBjornBjorn said upload ur pic on a certain page
go back to forum and click add reply
it should get u to the page where u got some help buttons and a blank message field. find the "insert image" button (circled and pointed at with an arrow on the next pic)
a pop up with a blank field shoul appear...paste ur picture link there (i have written an imagionary link just for an example)
click ok and in the message field there should be ur link with the img codes...looking like this

u can use some of the programs for editing the photos. or since ur using photobucker for uploading ur pics...beside ever pic u have and edit option...find resize there and make it smaller.
