Re: is this a good shampoo to use?

I don't use Dr.Bronners on my scalp it dries it me out way to much. I use it to wash just not my dreads. I use a soap made by some friends locally. If you can identify all the ingredients in that product you should be fine. However I suggest checking your local shop and farmers markets,I have never had a problem finding someone who know someone that makes soap and I can tell all the ingredients. It took my scalp a month or two for my dandruff to clear up when I first started dreading.

Personally Dr. Bronner's works the best. I have scalp issues sometimes and dandruff after a few days, but then the Dr. steps in and fixes me up! :-P

I like the bar soap better considering I won't be adding too much to the scalp while scrubbing.

So I decided maybe it's time to type up a new Sig, and it's like, "What am I gonna talk about?" Yeah, that was pointless! :-P

I use dreadhead HQ. I highly recommend it. Dr. Bronner's leaves sticky residues in my hair

While I agree with you 110% on both counts, I cannot support DHHQ. I bought a wax kit from them before backcombing, and "test piloted" two dreads in the back THEIR way. I had to comb and tear that **** out.

Personally, I cannot support a company that perpetuates bad advice, and stereotypes for that matter for some money. Those people give humanity a bad name. Vote with your dollars.
