"Presentable"
Okay, so I have to find a way to make my 2 month old bright purple dreads look presentable...any suggestions? Cutting and going back to the natural color are way out of the question. I'm basically looking for a way to style my dreads for the time that they have to look "presentable". Thanks

Heck yes! Looks great, suprisingly! I have a few deads completely purple and then the rest are just the tips. I'll post pics when I can.

The only problem with that is, I have to make them look presentable for forensics tournaments ( competitive acting, not the dead body stuff) and the wig would be considered costuming ... bummer

That's a difficult question. On one had I love my colored dreads, but on the other hand the competition counts for a grade in the class. I'm thinking I may be able to wrap them, but the one way I know to use a dread wrap is where my hair pops out the top of it all crazy.

"Presentable"
Yes, forensics is a class and to have a good grade in the class or even pass you have to compete in the tournaments. Tournaments are a very profession like thing, you have to wear suits and all of that. (and I didn't think once about coloring my hair purple... oops) In forensics you can compete in Humorous interp., dramitic interp., solo acting, Dou interp., duet acting, or poetry interp (which is what I am competing in). All catagories have to be a ten minute memorized speech from a play, book, or song, but in poerty, and dou you are allowed to have a little back book with your lines in it.
I don't have any pictures yet, but will soon :)
