dreads forming flat!!!

hey i was just checking my hair, after leaving it for weeks with only washing it, all my other dreads are locking upp nicely but i have to !@#$ huge dreads at the back that are forming flat theyre rounded off at the bottom where i backcombed but the new growth if forming flat,is this normal or am i just guna hve to deal with flat dreads, im not botherd about having a 'perfect' set of dreads as i think the less regular the dreads the more amazing they look. so will these form super fat being as the flat hair spans like a inch n a half on one and a inch on the other..

i would post pics but dont have a digi camera.

thanks

well it depends. the form of the root will decide how the dreads will grow out. also, they get flatter at the back due to sleeping on em

Mine were flat for ages but in my experience, they become rounded when they're more mature..

Eh don't even use beads, it'll still restrict them.

You sleep on your head so it only makes sense that it's going to flatten out newb dreads. Wait for them to really lock up, it'll fix itself.

I have a congo which is like an inch thick and two inches across. It feels like a wedge of carpet.

Yeah several of mine are forming flat on the side I sleep on. doesn't really matter as long as they are locking up I guess.
