The heavy wooden doors open slowly. "Mount up, guys!" James calls, as Grandare swings his leg over his broom. The doors open all the way, and a yell from the crowd fills Grandare's ears. "Alright everybody! Let's go!" James shouts, and Grandare pushes off, soaring into to the air with ease. He may be clumsy and not all-together graceful on the ground, but he certainly knows how to fly. The wind whips past his face, making his tied-back brown hair flutter behind him as the team makes it's traditional lap around the feild before they break off to skim over the crowd.
Grandare flys low over the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw stands, grinning at John and Fay and Nikki as he passes over. Nikki laughs and lifts a hand and waves in reply.

Etta kicks off, the butterflies in her stomach suddenly disappearing. "Finally!" she thinks to herself, "I'm on a broom again!" She quickly scans the stands for a friendly face and spots Cosette. She yells out a greeting and waves, but can't be heard over the roar of the crowd.

Cosette looks up at the sound of her name and spots Etta circling up above her. She waves back excitedly, and runs along the stands to get a better look. She smiles and waves at Grandare who is currently above her, and doesn't notice someone is running her way until they have crashed into each other.
"Oh God," she groans, as she is sprawled out on the ground. "This really isn't my day." She looks up warily at the person who she collided (( is that a word?)) with, and her mouth drops open. He's adorable!
