Go With The Flow
cursing to herself muttering under her breath the whole time she kneels down on the bank of the seine laying flat on her stomach to retrieve her hat just before the rivers flow swept it away.
Sitting up wiping her hands on her skirt oh everyone was so funny, lets throw the tramp girls hat in the river Ha bloody ha! hearing the group of boys s**** at her again as she stands and puts her excuse for a strap on her blouse back on her shoulder she picks up a rather large stone and takes aim..no one laughed at her unless she laughed first

The Inspector had noticed a suspicious shaddow floating quietly. He frowned, just a moment, before he stepped down towards the something that looked like a hat. Not for the hat's sake, god forbid. But unfortunately it would not have surprised him to find the owner of the hat to have transformed into a sad water corpse, as it was often the case. Yet, fishing out the raggy object with his stick he found nothing to point towards a lost life, and he decided to continue his round when rather less peacefull voices reach his ears.

All that is presented to Javert's eyes is a bunch of young and rather suspicious scrapegraces arround what he could not make out clearly but what appeared to him as the outnumbered minority.
"Step aside" he says coldly. He does not need to raise his voice to make it more impressive. He could whisper and still get the same result.

agh javert! she wasnt indimidated by much but the stories that were told of this man..still she wasnt about to let him know she was scared of him, tilting her shin up slightly defiant, she would get the blame of course because they were well dressed and she wasnt

Javert glanced at the pathetic creature, and the young messieurs arround him. He was not a merciful man, however he disliked the respectless smirk on their faces. greatly disliked it, there was yet another bunch of young men spoiled by their class and unworthy of it. He himself had, and he was maybe a little bit proud of it, worked his way up to what he was now. A respectable man. But these youngsters were not promising for a society that he was dedicated to keep a clean and good one.
"Messieurs, I dare remind you that this cannot be supportive for your reputation, being seen with...this" he shot a glare at the girl. "I must beg you to return to your daily task and leave this be my concern. And you, come with me" he grabbed Éponine's colar to push her along, but let go of it once the young men were out of sight.
