Oh, you WOULD do that.
Me, I'm planning to use my Primesuit in an upcoming movie; Ninja Saves Santa.
See, the evil wizard enchants a toy to grow huge and come to life. It fights the ninja until he uses the heart-ripping technique to take the matrix of leadership. He opens it, and then Prime remembers that he's awesome, and they team up. At the climax, the wizard dispells the enchantment, and Prime dies with the words "Light Christmas' darkest hour."

i dont know how often this board is checked, but way before i built my first transformer costume i looked at a lot of those images that are on the first few links posted. it helped a lot.
heres my current suit, along with three of my friends. myspace page with all transformer images and videos in the blog
keep in mind that the older the blog, the older the costume. ive been through many many modifications and seem to have finally gotten it to the point where it looks pretty good AND allows me to dance in it, which is what i primarily do with it. costume contests can pay off the cost of building an optimus suit pretty quickly if you can also "do the robot"

Still thinking about how to create a hard-plastic transforming Devastator costume. I'm gonna need to do it in four stages, though.
1) Get the money
2) Get the time
3) Get the skills
4) Get off my rear and make it happen
It won't be happening this year, I can say that for sure.
