Re: What is Waffle??
I think people go to bed far too early in Melksham - there's never anyone to talk to - where are you all???
Think I'll just sit here and sing / talk to myself - rocking, rocking, rocking !!!

Re: What is Waffle??
Well most of us go to bed because we have to go to work the next day.
So what do you do Betty?

Re: What is Waffle??
Not sure i'm doing this right but here goes. i am disabled, & use a mobility scooter, i like to look around charity shops, but find it impossible to get in any but the Sue Ryder shop, i would love to be able to support Dorothy house having lost my husband to cancer, but it just isn't possible to get into their furniture shop, & the small step into the other one makes it impossible too, tenovus & the cats action are totally out of bounds. There is only one place to get a coffee, & that is difficult with a scooter, Luckily for me i don't drink & don't go out at night as i used to, but there is a distinct lack of disabled access in the pubs in the town too. Has Melksham got a downer on the disabled or am i being picky.??

Re: What is Waffle??
Hi Scatty.
I think you may have a point there - why not post a new thread under the local news section? I'm sure other people in your position face the same challenges and we should get on to the council to get something done about it.
