Human testing

The news about the human testing that went wrong is very bad news.

If I was still at Uni and I was offered £2000 to take a few pills I don't think I would have given the side effects much thought, afterall, what could go wrong, i'm in a hospital would have been on my mind.

Still I'm sure we could find a few people from Melksham to take them emoticon

It's really quite scary I think. I have considered those sorts of trials before but I don't think I will now. It also makes you think about all the animals that are tested on, and some of the horrific things that must have happened to them. I suppose though it's all in the interests of mankind isn't it? emoticon

I'm very wary of medical testing.

I don't think I'd consider it, you can't put a price on your health after all.

But at least in this country we get that choice.

well since we live in a country where you can get healthcare on the nhs and there are laws about things like medical testing we have a better deal than people who live in poverty stricken countrys where disease is rife and healthcare isn't so readily available and laws about such things may not exist.
it's something that we take for granted.
