Just a quickie mr highway

When you paid 1/10 for a pint - what was it a tenth of exactly?

A bail of hey maybe?

I know in the old days you could get a cooked meal, a pair of real leather uppers, a few pints and a grope 'round the back of the bus stop and still have change from 5p - but it's all lost on me???

Umm not a local man or a really local gig but I did see Bryan Adams at the county ground yesterday.

A very good night was had by me and my husband made even better by the fact that I won the tickets from a local freebie paper.

Other wise I would not have seen him emoticon

I think he is about the only man I would leave my husband for. But shhhhhhhh don't tell him that emoticon

Just got back today from seeing UB40 in concert in Nottingham Forest - absolutely fabulous. Now reggae'd out!!!

Next date - and I know it'll not be everybody's taste (esp. Travis!!) - off to see Patrick Swayze in Guys & Dolls. Patrick has been my pin-up ever since Dirty Dancing & this will be my first time of seeing him. Think I'll do the groupie bit & hang around the stage door at the end too emoticon
