 Seen a good film lately ??
I've recently seen "Keeping Mom" with Rowan Atkinson, Patrick Swayze, Kristin Scott Thomas and Maggie Smith. It was one of the best films I've seen in ages - it was one of those where you want to stand up and clap at the end and I was watching the DVD on my TV on my own!!!!
I believe it is coming to the Melksham "visiting" cinema on Friday 28th April at 1.30pm in the Assembly Hall - if you get a chance to see it, I give it 10 out of 10.

I enjoyed Cold Mountain.
The book by Charles Frazier is excellent.

Not A new film and I didnt want to see it when it first came out but I saw THE PIANIST over Easter,Icant say its an "enjoyable" film but it was so moving and showed a part of history some would rather forget.Adrien Brody throughly deserved his Oscar for his part in that film.

Lady vengeance, was a grrreat film! Visually beautiful and a nice different story stucture... check it out if you can handle subtitles!

"Sympathy For Lady Venegance" was avery good film indeed.
Saw "Walk The Line" last night, liked that a lot too.

I haven't seen it (yet). From all the hype I've heard I wonder if it says more about Mel Gibson and his peculiar brand of religion than it does about Christ?

I saw it on pirate dvd when it first came out & it was very gruesome but made you realise the cruelness of the times. Crucifixion was an horrific way to die.
