Lidl coming to Melksham
Lidl are planning to build a store in Bath Road, Melksham.
The new supermarket will cover 1.3 acres of land, which is slightly larger than the Trowbridge store, and will create 35 jobs for people in the local area.
Lidl plan to submit a planning application for the site in the middle of April, and are hopeful the supermarket will open its doors in the New Year.
What do you think of these plans? Will a new budget superstore be good for Melksham?

Re: Lidl coming to Melksham
We already have an Aldi. Local shops are better. If we all shop in big budget supermarkets the town centre will die.
