Bus Services on Bowerhill are rubbish
I don't have to use the bus services but my husband does and we live out at bowerhill.
After chatting with my husband in the last few days I discover that there are 2 buses an hour on to and off of the estate all with a few minutes of each other
My husband is disabled and needs to attends the Dr's on a regular basis for blood tests.
So sometimes he has to catch a bus in to town to then wait for the Forest Circular that goes around the roundabout at snowberry lane to go back in town to get the Dr's becauase of the time of the appointment. And sometimes even has to get resort to getting a Taxi.
Why is bowerhill so poorly served why can't the forest circular that runs every 10 mins go up on to bowerhill.
There are lots of older people or disabled or even young mums that don't drive on the estate. And two buses an hour 5 mins apart that leaves you about 30 mins to do everything in melksham, is hardly what I call a good service.
Anybody know why bowerhill is poorly served. Are we an just an after thought.
Maybe the Melksham Independent news could look in to why.
