Posting Rules
There are several, common sense rules that need to be stated for the simple reason that someone will say, "I didn't know" or "It doesn't say that anywhere..."
So here are the rules:
1) There will be no pornography on this board. Akheva does not allow it. I do not allow it.
2) There will be no discrimination. This includes but is not limited to discrimination based on race, nationality, sexual orientation, and gender.
3) While I'm not strict on no cursing, (I have a mouth like a sailor), I do ask that you limit your language. Everyother word does not need to be a curse.
That's why we have these:
:curse :throw  :ow :buttface  :wtf
4) If you are not sure if your post or topic is suitable for this board, ask. I'll review posts frequently, but if you ask and I find your post goes against any of the rules, I'll be more inclined to edit your post instead of deleting.
5) No flaming. If you don't agree with something someone has said, tell them. nicely.
Examples:
Statement: I think Lana and Clark are meant to be
Wrong Response: You f***king idiot! They're disgusting! you should be beaten. This type of posting will get you suspended or banned.
Good Response: I don't agree. I think the producers are spending too much time focusing on Clark/Lana and not enough time developing a plot.
I'm adopting the Smallville News rule of 3 strikes and you're out. You get 3 chances to mess up. Depending on what you do, your post may be monitored, you may be suspended, or you may be banned.
6) Do NOT respond to flames. Notify me and I'll take care of it. Ignore them. Please.
7) Put everything in it's proper place. Fanfic goes in the Fanfic forum, no matter what fandom. For now, that is how I'll work that out.
8) If you think a topic might be controversial, put that in the subject line.
9)If your post has spoilers, WARN PEOPLE. In the subject line don't put something like "Pete dies in the next ep." It's really, really rude. Instead, put something like, Spoilers for ep 3x02. Then at the beginning of your post mention that your post is a spoiler.
*If you don't know what a spoiler is, don't read the post.
10) This is not a store. You can't sell or auction off anything here. You can however, provide a link to YOUR site. Not eBay, or some other online store type place. If you want to put up a link to your website, either set it as your signature (if you're not sure how to do this, ask me), or put it in your welcome post.
