Oh yeah! and another thing!
The battle between Don Krieg and Luffy...
in the Manga (one of the few Mangas I have), Luffy says 'This isn't my place to die!' but on TV, he says 'This isn't my place to stop!' Oh, so help me! If saying 'die' is so 'bad', then bump the rating up to PG so the facts are strait!
And in the Manga, Luffy is shot with poison darts... NOT POISON SUCTION CUPS, YOU BUTTMUNCHERS!!!! I swear, whoever butchered this great Anime so WILL PAY WITH THEIR LIFE! I'll see to it PERSONALLY!!!! ZOLO! GO GET THEM!!

dude, It think they stopped dubbing it. but yeah, I dont see how they could get into any serious arcs like alabasta or Skypea with out butchering my lovel crocodile and ener!

Your solution to both of those is to go to Discount Anime DVD and order the import One Piece DVDs! Not only will you get to hear my Sanji-sama's sweet, sexy voice, but you will also be on the inside with jokes about Solon and Sunkist *giggle*
As for spellings, the only spelling you have got wrong so far is Zoro himself  I was so disappointed that they changed his name, because for one, Shonen Jump ALREADY published FOUR volumes of translated manga with his name printed as Zoro, but when 4shame took over, Shonen Jump not only changed the name in their serialized publication, but they also went back and REPRINTED the first four volumes! To make it worse, it is not simply the usual issue of translating to an 'l' or 'r' (since those letters are generally interchangable in Japanese) because in the Japanese manga and anime, Zoro's wanted posters are printed with his name in English! It says right on it "Roronoa Zoro". Not to mention all of the Japanese merchandise that has his name printed as Zoro, such as my calenders...
Sometimes I wonder if they didn't just change his name so that their editors would have something to do whenever the Zoro wanted posters showed up on screen

Yeah, i personally like Zoro better... but I have become so used to Zolo that it'll take a while to get off the habit...

And now thinking about my ticked off friends is making me want to go listen to the Llama Song... have you ever heard it? If you like stupid, random, idiotic things... you'll love it... go to www.newgrounds.com. they also have a funny One Piece some called 'More Piece' featuring Kuro as the main singer. also, if you are into the real retro video games like me (Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc.) then you'll love this site!
Mika, I think you should make something for newgrounds. a little clip or something. It's just a suggestion but I think it would be awesome cuz i LOVE your art!
Oh yeah! If you like Zelda and want a good movie on it... look up 'Majora's Mock'. You kinda have to play the game to soak it all in, but it is funny even if you don't know!

Yeah, that is pretty messed up that your friends would get mad about calling him by his true name! You should get mad at them for calling him by his 4shame name

Aw, that's a really nice compliment  I just don't have time to make flashes...so for now I guess I will have to stick to my regular still arts. Thank you, though!

Yeah, I've been a fan of One Piece since before it even came to america. When I heard they were making a dub, I couldn't wait to see it, but when I also heard that 4kids was dubing it, I sunk. I just knew that it was going to get butcherd, but not as bad as it actually was. In fact, 'butcherd' is an understatment, the dub 'Once Peace' is a completely different show. That's how I feel at least.

I felt almost the same way as you did, except that I was skeptical from the start, not happy that One Piece would be dubbed. With it being my favorite anime ever, I guess I was and still am very, very protective of it. And of course, when I heard that 4shame was the company getting it, I was shattered. The rest of my family gave it a shot, but I never watched a single episode in English. The only episode I ever listened to was at an anime con while we were getting ready for our One Piece cosplay. The ironic thing is that while it was my 'first' episode so to speak, it was my family's last because it was the episode where Sanji premiered. His voice was so aWful that my family didn't watch it in English from then on!

I'm probably very slow but it wasn't mentioned yet on this thread, and because last year, for Christmas, Peter got me my first soundtrack for one piece.
I do so love the music for that show.
I've become a bit more resentful of 4kids because they changed it out for rap.
I MEAN COME THE **** ON. your gonna block out every other Funny thing about the show so you can make it kid friendly but PUT RAP AS THE OPENING! WTF?? getting started on a genre of music (if its that) That generally has Guns, sex, gangs, ****ing, *****s, whores, women as the main topic and, generally all in one song?
