Anime Censorship
Didn't see a place to rant about censored anime so figured id make one. Mostly made this to rant about The North American version of Naruto. Like sumtimes censorship really doesnt bother me, like censoring swearing doesnt bother me cuz wahtever swearing in itself is pretty unnnessasary so its liek not havin them swear doesnt change much, but completely unneccessary censorship drives me insane! haha, The north american version of naruto is full of unneccesary censorship. Well speakin for where i live they only show naruto later at night here at 9pm and before the show they even put a viewer discretion is advised thingy. AND THEN THEY STILL CENSOR EVRYTHING like whaa?? they censor completely unneccesarry things like when sasuke and naruto accidnetly kiss they turn the whole screen black and jus make u hear peoples voices go "eew naruto and sasuke jus kissed" (basically haha dun remembr exactly what they said sumthin to that extent) its liek why censor that? crazy homophobic censors like what the hell? seriously why? to censor that is so unneccesarry. then whenever thers blood or sum kind of violence the whole screen jus goes red or black to cover it , like when naruto stabs himself in the hand. Its like why? uve already put the show on late at nite and put a viewr discretion warning ( the warning even says the shows for a older youth audience (even though its not its still a kids show) ). Like if they at least did a better job editing i wouldnt be so angered haha, like jus turning the screen black thats so lame. Thers of course other problems unrelated to censorship like the over pronouncing of names and terms and not havin suitable voices for certain chacarters but that doesnt bother me cuz its to be expected when a show gets translated thers not much u can do for that mostly jus cuz if youve seen the orignal of any anime u'll be biasd. LOL anyways i had to get that rant off my chest. What do u guys think of the north american verion of Naruto? Or do u have any other beefs with other animes being censored?

BEcause they made a law against gay marriage, characters depicting any thing gay is wrong. Us bi's are so mistreated!
Poor Naruto..it makes me cry..One piece makes me want to stick pencils in my eyes.. ;.; Poor Robin and sanji!

ya but where i live gay marriage is legal, its allowed. but ya i think its cuz we get the show translated through the united states.

I thought The US was supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave? Are the Brave to scared to show children beer? Gay kissing? Blood?

The brave are all gone to Iraq, and even then, they aren't as brave as the founding fathers were. That's what the government is currently running on: fear. Have you heard the term "security moms"? Don't you remember just a few years back when what they focused on were "soccer moms". Just the terminology itself is showing where we are all heading.
And it's not just America. It seems the whole world is heading towards a more right-wing, conservative slant. It makes me sick, and it makes me scared...
...but getting scared doesn't make me curl up in the corner like these "security moms". Getting scared makes me want to fight with everything I have until I'm dead or free.
