 One Piece RP Descriptions
Well, I've heard a few people here talking about drawing each other's characters from the One Piece RP threads. I, myself, have taken an interest in attempting such a thing. So I decided to start this thread for descriptions of original characters used in the One Piece RPs (that means NO characters that already existed like Sanji or Luffy).
If you'd like someone to draw your character (like me for instance) then add a detailed description of him or her including, but not limited to:

If you'd like, you can also add reference images. I'll begin with the description of Mika as a reference to everyone ^_^
Name - Mika
Age - unknown
Sex - female
Physical Description - Mika is a bit short, 5'4'', but she is heavily muscled compared to other One Piece girls (aka she doesn't have noodle arms like Nami or Robin!). Her hair is ruby red and feathery. It is cut with bangs to her eyebrows, eartails to her collarbone, and the rest is shaved to about a millimeter except for a long queue that extends past the middle of her back. Her eyes are never seen because the left one is permenently closed, and the right (being overly sensitive to light) is completely covered by one half of a pair of very dark glasses.
Clothing - Mika wears different outifts, but they always consist of a short sleeved or no sleeved dress (length down to her knees), a pair of gloves that poof out around her forearm and end at her elbow, and a pair of leg warmer type items that begin below her knees and end at the top of her foot (kind of like the ends of a pair of flare-leg pants). She wears shoes and jewelry according to what outfit she is wearing. The half-pair of glasses that she wears can be oval or ovular-octagonal depending on what part of her story you are in.
Likes/Dislikes - She loves rubies (more like, worships/obsesses over them), the color red, and she also likes silver. She likes to be in pitch-black darkness whenever possible so that she can take off her glasses. She is obsessed with Sanji. The only thing she loves more are rubies. Mika is generally kind towards people, but she hates incompetence and would rather lock someone up than try to help their straggling-self along.
Personality - Mika is tough, but willing to give anyone a fair chance. When it comes to pirating rubies (and silver items on the side) she is absolutely ruthless and will stop at nothing to obtain what she seeks. She has killed/kidnapped her fair share of idiots who have gotten in her way. However, most of the time Mika uses ninja-like tactics and tries to sneak into a ship's safehold without alarming anyone. She is clever, and for the most part she lives without regrets. This is a good trait because she often makes brash decisions when there's no time to think.
History - Not much is known about Mika's past, not even to herself. When she was younger she lived with her uncle in Lougetown, but she left to become a pirate (with her uncle's approval of course) in her teens. She always visits her uncle whenever she is near Lougetown.

Description:Jacen is average heighth. (About 5' 9") He has dark blue hair that is about one inch in length, except the bangs which are long enough to hang in his eyes. He is blind, his eyes have no irises or pupils. They glow a light blue. Jacen has three tatoos on his face. One is a line that stretches from ear over his eyes and to the other ear. The other two are two triangles on either side of his face.
Clothing: Jacen wears a long black ragged trenchcoat with the sleeves folded at his elbows. He also wears a maroon Kung Fu type shirt with the sleeves ripped off. He wears ragged yellow and blue pinstriped pants that cut off below the knee. His boots are cuffed pirate boots that are black. He wears a black belt that has a skull and crossbones for the buckle. He also carries a teddy bear in his right inside pocket. the had barley peeks out. His sword is as tall as he is. It has a thick Katana style blade and the hand gaurd are skull and crossbones.
Likes/Dislikes: Jacen loves children, a sensation of flying (rollercoasters, skydiving, bungeejumping, etc.) and being with friends. He dislikes dismay, hatred, and "cruel" pirates.
Personality: Jacen is quiet quite often. He follows the seven virtues of the MiHawk clan. Those are: Honor, Courage, Compassion, Loyalty, Sincerity, Courtesy, and Justice. Jacen is loves his friends and family and he is always very loyal to them. Jacen is especially fond of Nami because she accomplished something he cannot; overcoming the darkness of her past.
History: Jacen was knocked off his father's boat when they were in the Red Mountain Passage heading to the Grand Line. He awoke, blinded by "Toxic Nori" (a poisonuos blue colored seaweed found only in the gRand Line.) and he was on an island called "Never Never Island"; an Island ran mostly by orphans. He was befriended by a little girl named Sakura who claimed him as her new big brother. Jacen learned to fly here and learned to sew among other things. He often had to stitich Sakura's favorite toy, a teddy bear named "Cubby." One morning, jacen awoke to find the entire village had been destroyed and he was the only one to survive. He found Sakura, dying in his arms he discovered that pirates had raided the village looking for "magic dust." Sakura had defended their cottage and in so doing, gave her life to protect Jacen from "a hooked man." Heart broken and enraged, Jacen buried his loved ones and took all his belongings as well as "Cubby" and he set to sea on a hand made raft. Jacen also forgot how to fly when Sakura died because she was his "happy thought". He tried in vain to fly again and accidently learned how to control the weather. He vowed to only return "Cubby" to Sakura's grave when he had accomplished three great tasks. One: To avenge her death. Two: To reunite with his father, MiHawk and finally Three: To become the "First Knight" to the new "King of Pirates" (the one who discovers 'One Piece') And in so doing help build a peaceful world so that no family would be torn apart like he and Sakura ever again.

Age: 27 (that's right kiddies, this guy is old.)
Sex: Male
Physical Description: Maxi stands about 5'8" and has a very skinny but very tone build. He has jet black hair and is very similiar to an Elvis toupe. His eyes are dark brown.
Clothing: He wears a vest that has a tail. It has a golden outline with the upper part being black and lower part white. The tail is white as well and the inside is purple. He has golden wristguards and white pants with metal greaves and brown leather boots. He is never seen without Soryuju, his dark blue nunchaku with gold at the ends.
Likes: Freedom, riches, women (not as much as Sanji, though), his nunchaku, and his ship and crew.
Dislikes: Authoritive figures and politics who think they can just throw their weight around, anyone who crosses him and his crew, and bigots.
Personality: Maxi is a very prideful man, so much so that it becomes a fault at times. He never likes to lose. He appears to be short tempered, arrogant, and rude on the outside, but deep down he cares for his friends and crew with an intsenity that can only be matched by how a father cares for his son. He always does what he can to hide his sensitivity to others. He is clever and always has something up his sleave when odds seem to be against him.
History: Maxi doesn't remember much about his early childhood. He can only think back to when he was five, when he was an orphan in Ryukyu on Earth. He doesn't remember who his real parents are and has no idea if Maxi is his real name. When he turned eight, him and his life long friend, Ryojiro, snuck aboard Spanish Naval ship when while passing through Ryukyu. Originally the crew was going to throw them overboard, but the Captain, Montego Sorel, decided against it, stating that they needed someone to swab the decks. It was there that Maxi learned to speak French, mostly from the help of Montego Sorel's son, Raphael Sorel. Maxi was raised around French nobility for two years, which is what spawned his hatred for authoritive figures and poilitics. A Spanish pirate captain by the name Vega Garcia passed through France and found Maxi and Ryojiro swabbing the decks of Sorel's ship. He told the children that if they came with him on his ship, they wouldn't have to be slaves to nobility ever again. They could be free. Maxi told Raphael what he was going to do and Raphael said he didn't hear anything. The next morning, Maxi and Ryojiro snuck onboard Captain Garcia's ship, "The Whale of Battle." Maxi thought that was the dumbest name he had ever heard but it fitted the ship quite well. It's wooden hulls were reinforced and it had as much firepower as the largest naval warship. It was there that Maxi learned how to live like a pirate. However, he did not always agree with Captain Garcia's method. He would pillage any place that had gold and rape any woman he came across. Maxi, knowing that he could not stand up to Garcia, did not say anyting about it, but deep down he knew that what Garcia was doing was wrong. And even though Garcia promised the children freedom, they were still swabbing decks and polishing cannons. A year after Maxi and Ryojiro came aboard the Whale of Battle, Captain Garcia decided he wanted to travel East, to China. After a long jouney, The Whale of Battle finally arrived at China. When Captain gave the order to pillage a seemingly defenseless village, they were in for a shock. All it took was three Shao-lin monks to successfully fend off Captain Garcia and his crew. While Garcia and crew fled back to their ship, Maxi and Ryojiro were facsinated by how skilled the Shao-lin monks were. They stayed behind. Garcia was so scared, he didn't even notice. Maxi ran up to one of the Monks and before he could say how skilled he was, the Monk backhanded Maxi. Maxi fell on his back and tears welled in his eyes. He shook off the pain and as he tried to stand back up, the Monk stepped on his chest. And slowly pressed down. harder. And harder. The monk was going to crush him. Then Maxi heard an angry yell and the Monk took his foot off of the child and faced something that resembled a temple. Maxi gasped for air. "Seifu!" the Monk shouted. In the doorway of the temple, stood a middle-aged man with a robe on. The Monk ran up to him and said something desparate in Chinese. He has interupted when the middle-aged punched him in the stomach. The Monk fell on his knees. Then the middle-aged man shouted and pointed inside the temple. The Monk bowed and ran inside. The middle-aged man walked to where Maxi lay and offered his hand. Maxi took it and stood. In perfect Okinawan, the man asked "Are you alright? What is your name?" Shocked, Maxi said in a raspy voice "Yes, I-I think so... My name is Maxi." "Let me apologize on behalf of Yuen. He means well, but he is quick tempered." "...I'm quick tempered too." Maxi said innocently. "Yes, I can tell. Your eyes burn with fury. You wish to defeat Yuen?" Again, the man shocked Maxi. "H-how could you tell?" The man smiled. "Well, when you've seen as much as I have you can tell these things. Tell me, who is your friend?" Shyly, Ryojiro said "I'm Ryojiro." The man closed his eyes and gave a warm smile. "I can see that you've been abandoned. Then come. I shall you teach you the Martial Way. My name is Shin Long, but you may call me Seifu." The children stepped inside the temple and saw many weapons. Maxi was espcially interested in what appeared to be some kind of flail. "Seifu, what's that? I've seen farmers use those in Ryukyu to beat rice." Shin Long smiled and said "Those are nunckaku. Would like to learn to use those?" Excitely, Maxi said "Yes, I would!" Shin Long's smile grew larger. "Good! Your training will start immediatly. Li Long! Come!!" A boy about the same age as Maxi ran into the room. He said "Yes, father?" "This is Maxi. He is interested in learning the ways of the nunchaku. You will help him in his training." Li Long said "Yes father." Li Long proved to be quite a clever child. He was sneaky and wanted to be an assasin for Ming. In a short time, Maxi became as good as Li Long. They came to learn from each other. However, as Li Long stuck to the style he was taught, Maxi began to see beyond that. After ten years of stduying with Li Long, he had created his own style, Shissen Karihadi. He implied some of the kicking and acrobatic techniques he learned from his weaponless training and used what he learned from Li Long, as well as his own techniques. Maxi even learned to create a giant chi blast through his nunchaku. Though Maxi enjoyed his time with the Long family, he desired one thing more than anything: Freedom. As did Ryojiro. Shin Long wanted Maxi and Ryojiro to stay with the temple, but knew he couldn't keep them there. So, on Maxi's 18th birthday, Shin Long had every Monk from the temple build him and Ryojiro a small sailing ship just big enough for the two of them. Maxi said that he would never forget the kindness that Shin and Li showed. With that, they sailed off in search of freedom. Maxi remembered what Garcia said. "Pirates are free spirited." It was then that Maxi decided to be a pirate. But not a pirate like Garcia. He would have some form of honor. Instead of pillaging defenseless villages, he would target large cities and only steal from the rich and greedy lords. He wouldn't rape women, he would merely "Court them for a night." He figured if she agreed, then there would be no problem. However, Ryojiro pointed out to Maxi they they needed a better ship and a crew. Their first stop was Japan where they found a young man with a very avid sense of direction named Tasagi. He would be their helmsman. In Russia, they found an expert marksman known only as "Rusty." But now they needed a bigger ship. In European waters, they found an abandoned pirate ship. They fixed it up as best they could and called it "The Rusted Cannon." After a tragic night in France (see page 5 of One Piece: Part Deux) they stole the largest vessel in the French Navy, the Titan, and renamed it The Mighty Haven. For years, that was Maxi's ship. Then one night, while docked at a harbor in India, a man with red hair and bow staff stood near the ship and identified himself as Kilik. A portal opened up and several demons poured out of it, one which was seven feet tall and had a huge axe. As Maxi a crew were readying their ship for battle, the portal sucked them in, and Maxi, not knowing where he was, was in the One Piece universe.
Damn, I'm long winded when it comes to history and character development!

Name: Ryojiro Kenshima
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Physical Description: Ryojiro is 5'7" and is about the same build as Maxi. He has long brown hair tied in a ponytail, has blue eyes, and wears a pair of small round glasses.
Clothing: He has a red button up vest with blue lining. His pants are red and are held up with a black sash and he also wears black boots.
Likes: Money, hard liquor, his glasses and his sword.
Dislikes: People who misuse money, people who refuse to admit their weaknesses, and people who misuse swords.
Personality: Ryojiro is the perfect first mate for Maxi. Though Ryojiro may have an ego that tries not to show with style, he is calm and thinks through all of the decisions he makes and has to constantly remind Maxi to "Think before you act."
History: Ryojiro is slightly younger than Maxi. He was kicked out of his family when he was only 3 for not being able to see well. A year later, he met Maxi and they formed a friendship that would last a lifetime. When the two first met, Ryojiro had to rely on Maxi for sight, but after a few months, they stole a pair of glasses for Ryojiro. From then on, he only replaced his glasses once. When he and Maxi arrived at China and lived under the shelter of Shin Long, he learned how to wield a Kung-Fu sword. When in battle, Ryojiro is bested only by Maxi. When Maxi decided he wanted to be a pirate, Ryojiro declared he would be his first mate and keep him from doing anything stupid.

Weakness: she can sometimes have a very foul temper towards people she meets. Being a half demon she also turns human during the full moon. she also is terrified of her demon side, it gives her strength but with out her demon side she's just a weak seer. Scrying can also have side effects, thoose being that if she does for more than an hour she could get a headache. Other stuff is that slow healing wounds, A lack of energy, comas.

Fighting-Style and weapon explanation:
THe Nibaipitsu is basically an oversized pencil with both ends sharped that is thinner in the middle. The fighting technique resembles that of the double-bladed sword, though the nibaipitsu is used more for thrusting and bashing, Maxell's fighting style renders sword techniques useless against him, since, as we all know, "The pen(cil) is mightier than the sword"
The Kobu Kobu fruit:
Maxwell's devil power allows his body to swell and shrink at his whim, when he swells, he can bounce back blunt weapons and projectiles, much like Luffy, though Maxwell can have any part of his body swell, and without taking in air, this also allows him to float on water, instead of sinking, though he will still be unable to move. When he is swollen, he can roll aswell as bounce, letting him move fast and jump high. As Luffy can imitate his power, Maxwell can also imitate Luffy's, for example, making his arms swell gives him longer reach, if he does it fast, it'll work like a punch.
In addition to all this, he can float in the air if he swells up really much, however, this will render him mostly immobile, and if something pierces his skin at this point, he will deflate, fast, causing him to fly around without control.
Likes: Food, booze, jokes and treasure.
Dislikes: Arrogant people, cowards, arrogant cowards. Thieves (Only if they steal from him, though). Kids (More the younger they are)
Personality: Lazy. Easy to startle, if you jump behind him and say "Boh!" he'll jump 20 feet stragiht up and scream. Fearful, but brave (Ai, braveness is the ability to control your fear, it has nothing to do with being fearless) Impossible to insult with words, if someone makes fun of him, chances are that he will join in the laughter. However, when he encounters a person he sees as arrogant, he will have a hard time keeping himself from killing the guy.
He is a "Eye for an eye" person, if anyone does him or his nakama any harm, the person shall suffer equally or more, unless he has good reason.
Biography: Where he learned his fighting style is unknown, he simply appeared in south blue one day (eight years before Luffy set out) and started defeating marine swordsmen, one after the other, stealing everything of value they had, including their coats. He would single-handed approach a marine base and take out every single person in just a few minutes, even high ranking officers were no match´thanks to his unique style of fighting. He quickly got quite a bounty on his head.
However, one day, raiding a base, he ran into the marine captain Garp, who did not use a sword, and recieved the biggest beating of his life, he managed to use his devil power to escape to the sea, where he was found and saved by his crew a few days later.
This lead to the marine to realize that simply training their men in the use of other weapons than swords would stop this embarassing series of defeats. Since then Maxwell hasn't been able to raid a single base, and because of this the marines radically decreased his bounty, making him the laughing stock of south blue's pirates for several years.
Nowadays, Maxwell is like any other pirate, searching for One Piece in the grand line with his ship, "Inkwell". However, he still seeks out marine swordsmen when he gets the chance, and his collections of swords and coats are extensive.
In his travels, he has defeated most swordsmen worth their names, he even fought successfully with Mihawk, until Hawk-eyes figured out the Nibaipitsu kenpo's weakness (Yes, I have thought of a weakness) and kicked his ass.
Maxwell doesn't search for One Piece to become the pirate king, he only desires the wealth.
His vice-captain and his first mate each desire one of the other parts of the legendary treasure.

Attire: Black shirt, jeans, black plain belt. He always wears a leather collar around his neck. He usually wears black sandals, with the things around the heels so they don't come off unless he unstraps them
Personality: A good one. He vales his friends greatly, to a extent where he will put his life on the line.
Powers: He has the same powers as Crocodile. Meaning he has the sand power from the Devil Fruit.
Weapons: None. His is melee combat alone. Which actually is pretty powerful, like Sansuke from Ruroni Kenshin. His no weapons policy does not include incorporating the uses of many magical dials, or as he calls them, 'conches'. What they are are shells that can preform things that other things can do. Some of the conches can even do things some people could call unnatural.....
History: He was born in a land called Skypiea, far above Burse (earth). In Skypiea, a land of the clouds, he was considered an outcast, specifically because he had no wings, and no father. There was no father, and his mother died during childbirth. He lived a lonley life until a day when he was only nine years old.
That was the day Ener and the four Godofficers arrived at Skypiea. They drove out the old ruler, and positioned themselves at the leading position.
Ener siezed control over the entire country, posing as god and dolling out punishment to anyone who interfered. Ener could use a magical technique called the Hearts Net, which allowed him to tell exactly what anyone in Skypiea was doing at any given time.
Ener was also a practiconer of Devil Fruit. His was thunder fruit.
When someone displeased him, Ener killed the offender with a blue lightning strike from above. There would be no warning except for a bright white flash, and then screams of agony, then dead silence.
Peter was intended to be a victim.
Peter had publically denounced Ener, claiming he was a monster, that the people needed to stand up for themselves. Ener becme very very upset and sent judgement from above. But unlike the other victims, Peter didn't die.
Sure, he was hurt, but not badly. It was like his body wouldn't give in. Again and again Ener zapped him, but the result was the same--the boy just would not die.
At this time, Ener was dabbing in something called Line Impact conches. While Ener was a lightning user, he was the kind of man who would explore every military possibility. There was still a little problem with it though--it was impossible for anyone to use it.
An ordanary Impact Conch absorbs impact strength, then releases it freely. A Line Impact conch releases the energy in a concentrated blow thats over ten times as powerful as a normal Impact conch.
When Ener or any of his officers (or followers, for that matter) tried to use Line Impact, they were all hurt horribly from within. You see, the force of Line Impact is almost completely returned to the user, as well as the victim. So in a sense, using Line Impact is the same as using a double bladed sword. No one could use Line Impact in battle.
Peter was the only exception.
At only nine years of age, he had displayed toughness even more so then of Ener himself, having survived multiple lightning strikes, the most powerful of which was 200 million volts that hit him directly (Peter walked away from that with minor burns on his skin and some badly wretched muscles, but he was still alive)
Peter became high priortity to Ener. He wanted the boy on his side, purely for his ability with a conch. The unique ability that using Line Impact did not hurt him, and that having it used directly on him didn't cause him anything more painful then a broken rib or two.
He was trained extensivelly in using all the conches of Skypiea, as well as intense hand to hand combat. He became incredibly strong, strong enough to break a set of ribs with a punch to the gut, or most of the teeth of a person with a kick to the face. He got good enough to the point where hitting someone would produce so much force...that his punch became as powerful as a blow from a regular Impact conch.
He treined under Ener and his henchmen for five years. In that time, he never once saw any sign of affection from Ener, nor from his assoiciates. They were just a heartless group of killers.
Peter decided to leave the island forever. And he did....he snuck out at the proper time. He stole a ballon and drifted down to Burse.
Unfortunatelly for him, a wind was blowing. and his little ship drifted, right into a Navy base......it was there that he found and ate a suna-suna fruit, giving him sand powers.
The rest is history.

Slender, almost never show his whole face, his bangs mostly cover his eyes. According to himself, it's "Cuz chicks like mysterious guys"
He wears a strange garment that looks like a robe on one side, and a vest on the other, the vest, the collar of the robe, and some strange symbols on the robe are dark purple. The robe is light beige.
Fighting style and weapons:
Hidden in the sleeve of the robe-part of his clothing, he has numerous trigger weapons that he can fire and retract(Might not be real word even, I think it's right though). Inside the robe, he also carries many small blade weapons, and quite a few handguns. Because of the triggers, he can't use his left hand for anything else than fighting, unless he removes the robe. And due to the weight of the triggers, his right arm is very strong, something he doesn't have any use of anyway.
Likes: Acting mysterious and cool. Drinking, treasure and girls (Although not as much as Sanji).
Dislikes: Being unable to impress people with his mysteriousness. Hangovers. Ugly women.
Personality: This has pretty much been covered, hasn't it?
Bio: Shiroto was born and raised on a sand pirate ship, in the far north of Alabasta. He was taught the use of triggers by his father, one of the crewmembers. His life was rather uneventful until one day... The pirates were in town to resupply, and kidnappers mistook Shiroto for the son of the town mayor. He was kidnapped, and taken to south blue. However, the ship he was on was unfotunate enough to fall prey to Maxwell. Shiroto, who saw his chance to escape, fought like a madman against his captors, killing off half the ship. Then, he proceeded with taking Maxwell hostage, threatening to kill him if they didn't take him back to Alabasta. Maxwell offered him a place in the crew, and that he would be taken to Alabasta when they jorneyed into the grand line. In time, however, Shiroto's ambitions changed, he longer seeks to return to his home, now, he's after one piece.

Devils power:
Mattis' devil's fruit is a zoan, the Muto Muto fruit (Sheep fruit), like all other zoan fuits, it let's him turn into a sheep, or a sheep-man hybrid at will. In hybrid form, he becomes stronger, faster and stuff. His hands and feet become harder, as they are turned into hoof-like things. He also gains horns in the hybrid form.
Likes: Saying "Dude". Eating. Sleeping, watching fights.
Dislikes: Getting up early. Screaming. Having to think a lot.
Personality: Calm... amazingly lazy, sleeps when possible. Mainly likes taking it easy, doesn't anger unless someone attacks him.

Physical Description: Shadow doesn't look any different from any other teenaged girl. She is 5'4'' and has a scar on her upper right arm from a swordfight when she was 7. She is not as skinny as Nami or Robin, but her stomach is perfectly inline with her waist. Her hair naturally resembles fire, being more red at the top and more yellow (blonde) at the bottom. Another interesting trait (and mystery) is that she thrives in the dark. This is how she earned her nickname Shadow, 'The Midnight Terror'. Her powers increase in the dark, which is when she does most of her sneaking and stufff. Why this happens is a mystery even to her, but she has no complaints. She also has the power of a Cursed Fruit, the Blast-Blast Fruit. This fruit allows her the power to shoot fire, water, ice, wind, earth, electical, and psychic power out of her body, such as her hands, feet, etc. Being as sneaky as she is though, she researched an herb that was said to make whoever ate it a better swimmer. She cooked the Blast-Blast with this herb and can still swim. However, she is still weak to Seastone.
Clothing: You won't ever see Shadow without her trademark clothes! She always is wearing a black T-shirt with pink flames at the bottom and on the sleeves. Her pants match her shirt. They are black flare pants with pink flames on the cuffs. When traveling by foot, she usually has her bandana on her head (much like Zoro does), but she may have it off if there is not many people around or maybe even sometimes while sailing. The bandana is also black with pink flames on the bottom, making her head look like it's on fire at times.
Likes/Dislikes: Shadow loves her swords. She welded them herself when she was only 8. She also loves her bandana and her outfit. She says that they express the way she feels whenever she battles: 'It burns with a passion that can never be extinguished.' But above all, Shadow loves her friends and will gladly risk her life for their safey. She shares a special bond with Zoro though. The two met when she was 7 years old and trained alongside each other for over a year. She met up with him on her 13th birthday and once more when she was 14 when she joined up with Luffy. As far as dislikes go, there is not alot. She hates the marines because they killed her best friend when she was falsely accused of being a pirate and therefore executed. She also hates people who harm innocent people or her friends. She also loves her ocarina which she plays when chilling out or to calm her friends or herself down.
Personality: Shadow is very nonchalant. Nothing really bothers her. However, she DOES have an extremely short fuse at times. Shadow's past has left her cautious on trusting people. It may take her a while to fully trust someone (if she hasn't heard of them before when she travels from town to town, listening in on people's conversations and learning about many people all over the world. She loves saying things to her friends in Spanish, just hoping they do not know what she said. If her friends are feeling downhearted or something, she will try to make them laugh with odd little remarks, songs, sayings, etc.
History: Shadow never knew her parents, but was watched over by Mihawk until she was 5. Her parents were murdered right after she was born, but why, where, and by who is not known. She only knows them from the broken picture frame at her house. Then, at 5, she began wielding two swords she had bought at a shop in her hometown with the money she inherited from her parents. She is self-trained since she had no one to train her. She left her hometown when she was 6, in search of someone to spar for extra money. She came to a dojo where men and boys learned and perfected swordplay. Shadow demanded to spar a boy of age 11 with green hair. The sensei set her up to spar another boy her age, fearing that a GIRL of her AGE should not be put up against such a strong opponent. The boy was taken out in a matter of seconds by Shadow's impressive techniques, agility, and power. This impressed the green haired boy and he asked her to join him in training. She accepted and learned that the boy's name was Roronoa Zoro. But, when asked her name, she would not respond, in fear that if her real name was revealed, it could lead to trouble if word of her impressive power got out. So, because of how she followed Zoro everywhere and how she suddenly appeared at the dojo one day and everything about her was a mystery, Zoro gave her the nickname Shadow. She had no objections and went by the name for years after. The two trained side by side for over a year, but never sparred once. One night, Shadow snuck away from the dojo. No one had noticed her leaving until a voice called out to her. She didn't turn around, knowing just who it was. "Don't try to stop me..." she replied, "I must leave now... Goodbye, Zoro..." She never looked back once. Shadow continued on, sparring even whole crews of grown men without so much as a scratch on her. The marines placed a bounty of 20 million Berries on her head at the age of 7 because she was so dangerous. When her best friend was killed by the marines when she was 9, she began to take out her anger on every marine she saw. This brought her bounty up to 50 million Berries by the time she was 10. On her 13th birthday, she went out to get something to eat at a local bar. "Are you Shadow?" a man asked, standing in the door of the bar. "Is it any of YOUR business?" she snapped, casually swirling around her drink. "I am Captain Smoker." the man replied, "And you, Shadow, must be captures!" "Blah,blah,blah... You're all talk." she sneered, "What makes YOU different from all those other marines who tried to capture me before? I CAN'T be captured, you're wasting your time." He rammed her against the wall, holding her by her neck. "You little punk!" he yelled, "I'll teach YOU to respect me!" "Not likely!" she sneered. After a while, Smoker had the upperhand when he was about to catch her in a net made of Seastone. Someone attacked Smoker from behind before he could throw it though. This mysterious man, avenging the name Shadow, was known to Shadow. It was none other than Roronoa Zoro. Shadow thanked him for backing her up and left quickly, thinking that he would not remember her from 7 years ago. Smoker was so mad that he had failed to capture Shadow that he demanded her bounty be raised to 120 million Berries. Shadow loved her new bounty and said it was one of the greatest birthday presents she had ever gotten. To this day, her bounty still stands at 120 million Berries.
