“Go downtown, tell Big Boy we have a situation.” Lucas ordered.
“Sure thing bro.” Pedro said.
“Tell him this guy’s tough. We’re gonna need the whole posse.” Lucas grinned.
Lucas rubbed his now heavily bandaged hand and glared at Ben through the window, who was picking spaghetti noodles from his bleach curly hair.
“I’ve found your secret power.” Lucas sneered. “And it’s my turn to show you my power.” He unwrapped his hand and stared at the mangled, bumpy piece of swollen flesh. His eyes burned with anger.
“And when I do, it will destroy you.” He growled.

The gymnasium was packed with students and their famlies, tight like sheep in the bleachers of Skyview High School. Vice Principal Sanders stood near the front of the gym. Curling his handlebar moustache with his thumb and forefinger. He grinned, displaying proudly his massive gleaming white teeth.
Ben walked into the gymnasium and Mr. Sanders greeted him.
"So you ARE here Mr. Harrison." Mr. Sanders shook Ben's hand so violently that Ben jerked up and down, his head bobbing in every direction.
"I trust you remembered your detention for the evening? We had to reschedule after your...incident earlier this week." Mr. Sanders grinned wider.
'Earlier this week...' Ben remembered being put in the ambulance.
'It seemed so long ago..'
"Yes." Ben smiled. "I'm keeping score of tonight's game."
Ben followed Mr. Sanders to the score table and took his seat.
"Rick!" Kitty smiled and ran toward the spiky haired kid with the bushy side burns and Kung Fu shoes.
"Hey! Kitty!" He grinned, he was leaning against one of the portables, just behind the gym.
"When did you fly in?" She asked.
"About three days ago." Rick said. "Listen, I saw you and that Ben kid on the news the other day. I also saw what happened tihs morning. I know what's going on." He said bluntly. "I know that Ben can turn into Chival Yu."
"What?" Kitty gasped.
"I've watched enough Anime to know the difference between it and what people can really do." Rick stated.
"How?" Kitty asked in wonder.
"Ben's not your average Joe. I gathered that, I also gathered that he turned into chival this morning when he put those headphones on." Rick smirked. "He uses the theme song of Mecha Flight as a stimulus, is that it? Triggering his transformation."
"You can't tell ANYONE!! You've got to promise me that!" Kitty begged.
"Well...DUH!" Rick sighed. "Besides, he may already be in deep crap."
"What? Why?" Kitty asked.
"That stupid Lucas kid." Rick said as he popped open a can of beer. "Kid's dangerous, a gang leader yopu know?"
"Lucas..." Kitty's eyes bulged. "What the hell are you doing Rick?" She asked. "You're underage, and on school grounds?"
"I can drink what I want." He grinned.
"Yeah, I think Lucas knows." Rick continued. "Ben is in trouble, big trouble."
Lucas walked next to Big Poppa, a tall overweight man with a blac suit and tan alligator skin boots. Big Poppa adjusted his Ray Ban sunglasses.
"You better not be messin' with me Lucas." Big Poppa warned.

"Nah, nah man." Lucas assured Big Poppa. "I'm legit all the way."
"So, this guy Ben, he's sepcial, huh?" Big Poppa asked.
"Yeah, somethin' like that." Lucas responded.
"So what you got in mind?" Big Poppa inquired.
"Oh, I've got something real special in store, just for him." Lucas glared at the lights of the highschool.
Ben broke a pencil in his hands as he looked at the score sheet.
"What's going on?" He cried out.
"Skyview's scored 36 or 63?" He flustered as a huge bead of sweat appeared on his forehead.
"I can't remember!!!" He crumpled the score sheet in his hand.
"OH NOOOO!!!" Ben wailed. "WHAT HAVE I DONE?!!"
At half-time, the cheerleaders began performing and Ben slumped in his chair. "Stupid sports, stupid jocks and preps...go home....watch Anime....stupid..soceity..." Ben sighed. "An easy detention.' Mr. Gunn says." Ben pudged out his lips. "Yeah right."
Lucas entered the announcer box.

"How could Lucas know?" Kitty asked Rick.
"Simple." Rick said.
* * **
"You! you can't be in here!!" The announcer said.
* * * * *
"One of MY c.d.s?" Kitty asked Rick.
"Yeah, I bet he stole it from you this morning." Rick said.
"So....he's known....he's known about Ben all along?" Kitty asked.
"Since the car chase, yeah, and he's afraid of him." Rick said.
"Do you think...he wants to hurt Ben?" Kitty asked.
"Oh yes, and then, he'll want to kill him." Rick got blunt again.
"Oh no..." Kitty said.
"It's very important Kitty, can you tell me what Animes you've shown Ben?" Rick asked.
"Only Mecha F and...we watched Soldier Sun while he was in the hospital." She said.
"Pretty Sailor Soldier Sun?" Rick asked.
"Yeah." Kitty said.
"You introduced him to Shojo?" Rick glared at Kitty.
"Yeah." She replied meekly.
"We better hurry." Rick said.
* * * *
Lucas punched the announcer as one of his goons covered the mic with a napkin. Lucas took the Soldier Sun soundtrack and placed it into the main c.d. drive.
* * * *
Lucas turned off all sound except the c.d. player.
The cheerleaders looked confused as their mic cut off.
"Ben." Mr. Gunn said. "Could you go test those mics?"
"Sure." Ben said.
"Oh and Ben?" Mr. Gunn said.
"Yeah?" Ben asked.
"Be careful. And remember, you can do anythnig you want, anything."
"Right." Ben waved as he walked down the bleachers. "Weirdo." He said under his breath.
Ben ran to the amplifier, saw that it was plugged in, then to the mic, tapped it, but there was still no sound.
"This is even better!" Lucas sneered and pushed play.
It happened suddenly, the magical music dance through the gymnasium. Filling it with rythmic sound. It entered Ben's ears, then his mind, then his soul.
"Open your heart Soldier Sun." Ben was now transformed into none other than Soldier sun, the magical girl sang sweetly to the crowd.
"Perfect!" Lucas laughed and stopped the c.d. player, his plan now rolling.
"Now EVERYONE knows!" Lucas laughed more insanely as he crushed the c.d. in his hands. "And your mine."
"Oh no!" Kitty covered her mouth ad Ben stood before the entire school, wearing a school girl fuku and sparkly makeup.
Ben ripped off the dress, revealing his baggy orange shorts and black sleeveless t-shirt. His face was red, and when the school erupted into an endless wave of laughter it faded to a pale white.
Ben ran to the nearest door which happened to be the same door that Kitty and Rick entered through.
"Ben!" Kitty said and reached for him.
