My One Piece Story

((Ok Here's my World Showing of My uncompleate Story. Hope yeall's likes it. Enjoy ^>^))

Laurea put her books down on the bed and sighed.
“Finally I can have some time to relax.” She pushed the hair from her eyes and looked at the window. “It’s such a beautiful day I should be outside.” She walked over and opened the shutters. “Not trapped in here.” She sat and leaned on the windowsill as she looked out at the big blue ocean. “If only I could cross that sapphire and travel again.” She said to herself.
“You know you don’t have to stay here.” Laurea jumped and when she turned she saw Momege sitting on her bed next to the books.
“Oh. Don’t scare me like that Momege.” The girl laughed and shook her head.
“Seriously though Laurea, you don’t have to stay here. You may leave whenever you wish. We even have enough money to pay you back for all you’ve done.”
“You know I could never accept it.” The woman smiled and handed her a ticket.
“Well then I went out and spent all that money for nothing.” Laurea looked at the ticket and saw that it had the words S.H. Nautiline written on the side. Laurea stood up and looked at her.
“You had enough to buy and supply a sister restaurant and you gave me a cruise.”
“Not just any cruise. That ship will take you to the best of the mainland.” She walked over to the door and said: “I would pack if I where you. The Nautilus leaves tomorrow.” Laurea almost dropped the ticket as the door closed.
“That’s cruel Momege!”
Laurea ran to her closet and threw everything into her bag, she felt happier than she had been in a long time. Something wonderful was going to happen. She could feel it.
***
Laurea had just said good-bye to all her old friends from the railing when the ship lurched and took off. She stayed and watched the land fade from view and then went looking for her room. But two or three hours later she had still not found it.
“This just isn’t my day!” She said in an agitated voice. She was looking for a small snack in her pack, when she ran into a young man in an orange cowboy hat. She felt the the bag slip out of her hands and all of her things dropped onto the floor. She then felt her necklace clip give way and fall off. She was picking up the items from the bag when the stranger began to help her.
“I’m so sorry miss. There are so many things happening today, I’m just not paying attention.” He looked up and she had to look down again to keep him from seeing her blush. He was very handsome and had rugged black hair. There was something about him that told her that he was an adventurous sort of man. The main thing that gave it away was that he ran around without a shirt. or maybe it was the tattoo on his arm.
“Yes, I’m sure. There are many people on board this ship. But you are lucky, being able to walk around with your hands free. You must have already found your room.” Out of the corner of her eye she saw him reach over to pick up her necklace and she suddenly changed. She grabbed a knife from her boot and leapt at him. They wound up with her on top of him, holding the knife to his neck and him just holding the necklace.
“Give that back!” She said in a threatening voice. All he did was smile and chuckle.
“I meant no harm miss, no need to attack.” He said putting it on the ground. She took it, held the trinket close to her heart and sighed.
“I’m sorry. It’s just that… this is the last thing of my mothers that I have…. It’s very dear to me.” The young man nodded his head and laughed as she helped him up.
“It’s no problem miss. I can understand how deer it must be to you.” She looked at him for a minuet.
“If it’s not too much could you please call me Laurea I don’t like formalities very much." The young man laughed and put his hand out.
“Well some people call me Portgas, but I prefere Ace.” Laurea shook his hand and laughed.
“It’s a pleasure to meat you Ace.” He made a bow.
“No, my lady. The pleasure is all mine." Suddenly he froze and fell over. For a minuet Laurea thought he was only kidding, but when he didn't move she became worried. Finaly when she was about to go get someone he looked up.
"What the... how did I...oh man." He stood up and dusted off his pants. when he looked up Laurea was looking at him in a horified way.
"Oh sorry about that. Anyway, what do you do on a normal day? Unless, of course, throwing around books is your idea of normal.” Ace asked as he picked up the last book. Laurea just looked at him and then started to giggle. She was laughing before she realized what he had said. She calmed down and replyed.
“Well, I love to dance.”
“Really?" He said as he gave her a quizical look. "Then you must come to the Masquerade ball that’s happening tonight." His Eyebrow raised as he gave a smirk and gave a civilized poze. "Only first class need apply.” Laurea laughed and looked at him.
“And how would you get in." She laughed at the fake offencive look on his face. "I'm kiding, but what would i do what, jive? I only know two dances and the probability of anyone knowing them is slim to none.”
“Oh really.” Ace's eyebrow raised in curiosity. “What two dances would those be?”
“The waltz and the tango.” She said as her cheeks blushed. “The tango’s my favorite but it's been some time since i've last danced.”
“Well young maiden, I happen to know those two dances. And seeing as this is a masquerade then everyone there will probably know the waltz.” He put on a goofy smile and opened her door for her. “Why don’t you go ahead and get unpacked. I have some thing to do. See you at the party?” Laurea looked at him and smiled.
“Alright, see you there.”
Laurea unpacked her things and looked around the room.
“This is the life. I truly am going to miss everyone at the inn. Momege was so generous to give me all this. Plus,” She looked at the beautiful white dress her dear friend had given her. “She even bought me this dress for the ball.” It wasn’t a big puffy one but it was long and had a slit in down the side. ‘The perfect tango dress.’ Her friend called it and it was all to true. It had come with a mask that looked like a fox face. It only covered the lower forehead, eyes and cheekbones of her finely tanned skin and it just barely reached the point of the nose. It was a perfect choice for Laurea, for her favorite dance was the Tango and her favorite animal was the fox. She squealed in delight as she got ready for the ball.

Re: My One Piece Story

Three hours later the passengers of the S.H. Nautiline gathered in the ballroom. Laurea walked in and a few people turned and looked at her, including a young man with blond hair with black roots. The young man did not recognize her, as she did not him.
“Is this how Romeo felt when he first laid eyes on Juliet?” He said as he lifted the mask from his face. The mask, like Laurea’s, only covered his lower forehead, eyes and cheekbones. “Is this what he experienced at seeing a true beauty? What was it he said? ‘Did my heart love till now? For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night.’ Yes that lies true for me as well.” He put the mask back on and began to make his way towards her. But before he knew it the crowd pulled her in and asked her to dance with the rest.
“It is amazing. Here we have a snowy dove dancing with crows.” He said as he leaned on a column. “Her beauty is to rich for use and for earth to dear. I’ll attempt to dance with her and when she has done dancing with the group; I shall touch her hand and make my own blessed.” And so he made his way towards her again.
And dance she did. The crowd was pleased to watch her dance at the same pace as the rest of them. To watch her twirl and spin was enough to make one wish for her to go on forever. Then, as if out of nowhere, a young man walked up to Laurea and held out his hand.
“A dance?” He said with a bow. She looked at him for a minuet.
“I’m sorry kind sir but I only know the tango and waltz.”
“Well I don’t know the Tango but I was once was taught the waltz. Maybe a dance with a beautiful woman would strike up my memory.” Laurea smiled as she nodded to the conductor. He began the song and she walked over to him. As the music played they swept around the dance floor and where admired by the guests. Laurea was astounded by this man’s grace. He kept a pace that allowed her to move freely and yet giver her a challenge. Also She felt a presence of heat emanating from his body, not body heat, this was more like fire was in his core. There where many dips and twirls as they swept along the dance floor, but finally the music died down. They ended the dance and someone at the podium grabbed the microphone.
“Alright everyone change into your best, cause after this break it’s gonna be time for the waltz half of the dance. Not that it obviously hasn’t already started.” The crowd cheered, laughed and disappeared, but as soon as they where back someone else grabbed Laurea’s hand and began to dance with her. The crowd swept them apart once more and Ace made his way to the back of the crowd. He leaned on a column and watched her continue to dance with everyone, and slowly getting ever more tired. The phone on his wrist rang.
“What is it?” He said getting away from the crowd.
“We’re all set here when do we attack?” Said Whitebeard. “How dose it look on your end.” Ace looked around and frowned.
“Not tonight. We need to postpone the attack for tomorrow.” There was a pause on the other end. “It would be better if we attack during the day. If we do it now there might be a chance for someone to slip away and warn the navy. We don’t want to risk that, do we sir?” There was more silence when Whitebeards’ voice came. “We attack tomorrow.” Ace Smiled as he turned off the phone.
He turned to see her standing on the podium, microphone in hand with the crowd begging for a song,
“Alright, alright. Now quiet down or I won’t think of what to sing.” Ace chuckled to himself and called out to her.
“Why not something ‘Simple’.” Laurea looked around but could not find the speaker. She smiled in the direction of the speaker.
“Aright then Simple it is.” She whispered to the conducter and there could be heard the sound of a heart beat, then small gasps and music, and so it began.

You're giving me too many things
Lately, you're all I need
You smiled at me and said,

Don't get me wrong I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

The daily things that keep us all busy
Are confusing me
That's when you came to me and said,

Wish I could prove I love you
But does that mean I have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
It's enough when I say so
And maybe some things are that simple

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before.”

The music faded and the croud stood astonished at this performance. Then from the back there came applause. It grew until the whole ballroom was filled with clapping. Once it had died down, Laurea waved them off to change into their waltz costumes. She to left

She had changed her gown into a long flowing dress with butterfly wings. The whole outfit was black and white and it was sleeveless with sleeves that held onto her arms. She also wore a thick necklace that was tied close to her neck. Her expression said that she was obviously tired of all the attention. He walked along the walkway between the wall and the columns. When he came to her column he reached around the curtain and took her hand in his. She gave a small gasp.
“Did I startle thee, fair one?” He said speaking in the way of old. He saw her sigh as he held her hand with both of his she smiled as she gave her reply.
“Nay good sir. ‘Twas only the suddenness of your action.”
“Then if I profane with my unworthiest hand
This holy shrine, the gentle sin is this;
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.” Laurea was at first taken aback with his choice of words. But just as swiftly she remembered the story of Romeo and Juliet. She smiled and turned towards him and, slipping behind the curtain, sat beside him.
“Good pilgrim you do wrong your hands to much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims’ hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers kiss.”
“Have not saint’s lips and holy palmers too?”
“Ay pilgrim, lips that that they must use in prayer.”
“O, Then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do!
They pray, Grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.”
“Saints do not move, though grant for prayers sake.” The young man raised his head and looked at her.
“You know I never understood what that meant.” Laurea giggled and looked him squarely in the eye.
“I mean Saints do not make the first move.”
“Ah. Then move not while my prayer’s effect I take.
Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purged.” He leaned in and kissed her gently and felt her kiss him back. Although she had been taken aback by the kiss, she found her shock over come by the emotions she felt follow behind it. When they broke apart she looked up into his deep blue eyes once more.
“Then have my lips the sin that they have took.”
“Sin from my lips? O, trespass sweetly urged:
Give me my sin again.” Once again he kissed her and received a more powerful emotion behind hers.
“You kiss by the book” At that moment, as if Destiny had created another pair of star-crossed lovers, someone called out for the girl. A young woman came around the column and swept her away.
“Go now young one the crowd dose call for more of your presence.” Laurea hurried off and Ace looked at the girl.
“Who was that you just whisked way?”
“The young maiden?” The woman said filling her glass with more rum. “No one really knows who she is. But some have called her Juliet for her beauty and shyness.”
“Ay, she is a beauty.” The woman looked at him.
“And what name should I give young Juliet should she ask for her knights’ alias?” Ace smiled and after looking at the ground he looked at her.
“Give her the name Romeo, a Montague.” And with a wisp of his cloak he left.
