Your Favorite Anime Soundtrack (only one!)

Post your fave anime soundtrack and WHY it is your favorite. You can only pick one (just to make you think harder emoticon).

For me...right now I would have to choose Hellsing: Ruins. The music is like a compilation of all of my favorite music types, plus some other stuff that I still think is groovy ^_^ I especially like Soul Police Chapter's Reverse Side Circumstance. It starts out with some slow organ, like some gospel stuff, then a little snare and cymbal comes in, then some rippin' guitars then...

"Shooby dooby~~"

I love that voice! From there the song really picks up tempo, and the singer's voice is just my kind of quirky >emoticon But then it stops! The tempo slows down and the song turns a completely new corner, and gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it...

It's as if the entire song is the embodiment of what it would really mean to become a vampire and come to terms with the new life you would lead. Just like Seras. Maybe that's why they call it "Soul Police Chapter's Reverse Side Circumstance"?? ^_~ If you listen to it with that in mind, you really start to understand the crazy titles these songs have.

Samurai Champloo soundtrack without a doubt. "Aruarian Dance" is my fav song off it, but i also like the songs "Vagrancy" and "The space between two worlds" off it as well.

haha im editing this i furgot to put WHY i like it. well not only does it work with the anime so well , like the soundtrack really made samurai champloo what it is. When i listen to it outside of teh anime its good to becuz its such good liek chill music, like it doesnt distract u if that makes sense. liek its the kind of thing i can listen to and read a comic book at the same time cuz most of the songs have no lyrics so its jus easy to get into and doesnt distract. simply jus good music.

Think it would Be a toss up, Seriously, Between, Either Nausicca, Princess mononoke Or Spirited Away.

I have serious problems choose so they'd probally be the three I'd love to the point of insanity.

no really! I CANT CHOOSE.

Don't worry, I can totally understand!! I have all three of those soundtracks and like five more from other Studio Ghibli movies (Porco Rosso, Howl's Moving Castle, etc.) and I would NEVER be able to choose between them. Joe Hisaishi (the guy who composes all of those soundtracks) is simply AMAZING. He is my favorite composer on this earth, right next to Danny Elfman emoticon
