Lt. william lay in his hospital bed on the cruiser Shady Lady. His breathing is deep and pained. William looks down at his shoulder, or what was his shoulder. Since he had been hit by that plasma grenade and lost half his torso and right arm, he had been quite deppressed. The doctors said it was a miracle he had survived that long.
There had luckily been a field medic near him at the time, who had stitched him up enough for him to make it to the hospital wing. He looked back on the battle, how the Covenant ships had come out of no where, cutting off retreat and blowing a hole into the middle of the Shady Lady. but luckily, a passing fleet of battle ships had caught the distress signal and the enemy had left with their tail between their legs, but not before docking on the Shady Lady and killing a quarter of the crew.
But then the doctor had come in and told him of a new project, one for injured marines. they were treated with a new technology that connected the brain to the machinery counterparts the body is replaced with. In other words, become a cyborg. he would be sent to the new colony and the work would be done there.

in the very first anime thing that says "I think i need to explain..." it says that it isn't just for anime and u could put anything on as long as it followed the rules and all. if i am mistaken in any way, please inform me. (besides, i know practically nothing about anime)
Lt. Williams pushed back what was left of his hair. if he didn't do it, he would probably die, in time. "you would be one of the elite soldiers sent on special missions and such. Doesn't that sound exciting?" the doctors words still rung in his ears. Exciting. maybe a few years ago when he had joined up, but now he was wise to the ways of war: seen too many die in front of him.
But then, war had saved alot of lives too. the Covenant would have blown up an entire Colony transport full of thousands of civilians if the Shady Lady hadn't stumbled accross the battle.

(*Shrug* I don't know, something that discribes you...I was thinking of changing mine, it's been the same for nearly six monthes!! LOL Okay!! Yes, I did about Pierre, and I think it's interesting, it struck me on the way home that Beauebatons was an all girls school though, wasn't it? LOL That said, I'll see what I can do about a decent post!)
Shade shifted her visored head in the direction of the new 'threat' With her shot gun, she took aim and blew the thing's 'head' off.
"Course completed." Chimed a pleasant female voice in her helmet. Shade didn't know if she'd ever get used to that.
"Well done Shade! Well done indeed!" Sgt. Bloon smiled as he aproached her.
She turned to face him. "Thank you Sgt." She said simply, emotionlessly. That was another thing that bothered Shade, her flat voice, the one that did not convey the pride she felt at being the first in the "Master Cheif Program'.
"Yes, yes, excellent!" He nodded and turned away. "We have another candidate for the Program." He stated.
Shade paused in the action of cleaning and storing her guns. "Really?" She asked, inside, she was nervous. Had they found a way to improve upon her? Were they going to decommision her if this new MC worked better than she did? She'd just have to apply herself to her studies better, and work harder that she had up until this point. "That's excellent news." She said, and for once, she was glad that her voice sounded flat and lifeless.

i got one. we'll see how this works out. but it depends if you are a major (and i mean major) fan of the wheel of time series by robert jordan
Lt. williams had finally done it. he told the doctor yes and was now being loaded onto the smaller ship that would take him to the new colony. there hadn't really been much choice in the matter. live or die. what to do? he had allways known he would say yes. and he was supposed to become some sort of super-soldier guy too. with shields and armor and he could breath in space and all that stuff. or rather that is what he tried to tell himself to stop thinking that, instead of going home to Idaho 8), he was still going to be fighting. he looked at the picture of Rachel in his bandaged hand. Which meant more time before he saw her again.

"Well, where is the Master Chief?" Shade asked dispassionately.
"Now, now Shade. Is that anyway to treat a new friend?" Sgt. Bloon smiled and chuckled to himself.
"What is it that you find so amusing?" Shade asked him as they walked down the hall to the room that she herself had emerged from only eight monthes previous. They had had her in 'training' and done so many tests on her to make certain that she wasn't going to go mad from the strain of loosing both her legs and her left arm, her firing arm. She had been amazed that they had even offered this to her, and even more amazed when she had said yes without first cunsulting her brain.
"Oh, just that your accuracy on the range has increased 18% since I told you about the new Master Chief." Sgt. Bloon palmed the door open.
"Green, nice." Was all Shade could manage when she saw her new 'friend', still in the rack.
(OOC: Her armour is Purple, by the way! *Smiles* OH! And I did recognize your little blerb, even before I read your post! *Ish proud of herself*)
