k, guess what xarenia, i checked, and beauxebatons is in fact..... not only for girls. it says so in the book. it says a dozen boys and girls get out of the carriage. so there. i was right. haha.
Lt. Williams looked out the window at the only place he had known for about the last four or five years. He would probably never see the Shady Lady again. He looked away, unable to look any more, yet as the transport ship prepared to jump to hyperspace, he turned back and raised a bandaged hand to his forhead. saluting it one last time.....

gimme time, geeze. i'm a slow mover when it comes to stories. lemme see....
The transport landed softly on the landing strip as the pilot issued all passengers off. Lt. Williams had been assigned a whole team of doctors and assistants to get him out of the transport and to see him to the "lab", as they had called it. He was carted off the ship and into a large ambulance equiped with life support to take him to the hospital of the place, then after a few hours, he would be completed and would probably be briefed on the whole deal.

that sounds great, seing as no one else does.....
Lt. Williams opened his eyes, looking at a large aray of surgury equipment. he raised his hand to his face. wiging his (no longer bandaged) fingers. half his hand was covered in a flexible type of metal. he just stared. it did everything he told it to......

Shade looked at the new MC. "Well, he's certianly not as pretty as I am." She said loudly in her monotonic voice. "What's his name? Or do we just call him Master Chief?" Her visored face revealed nothing of her inner turmoil.

" its called flexital" said the doctor, coming into the room. " it is as strong as crystal but as flexible as rubber, "by the way, you are wanted at once at the Sargeant's quarters, we'll have someone take you there as soon as you put on your suit. it connects to your brain as well."
So a few minutes later Lt. Williams is in the Sgts. office, in a big green battle suit. He looks up as the door opens.

"Well, where is the Master Chief?" Shade asked dispassionately.
"Now, now Shade. Is that anyway to treat a new friend?" Sgt. Bloon smiled and chuckled to himself.
"What is it that you find so amusing?" Shade asked him as they walked down the hall to the room that she herself had emerged from only eight monthes previous. They had had her in 'training' and done so many tests on her to make certain that she wasn't going to go mad from the strain of loosing both her legs and her left arm, her firing arm. She had been amazed that they had even offered this to her, and even more amazed when she had said yes without first cunsulting her brain.
"Oh, just that your accuracy on the range has increased 18% since I told you about the new Master Chief." Sgt. Bloon palmed the door open.
"Green, nice." Was all Shade could manage when she saw her new 'friend', fresh off the rack.
