Station Square
The station was alive and well, it had been 2 years since the choas distastor. all was peacefull in the city, from looking at it the people acted like nothing happened and moved on. but that peace would not last much longer and a certain blue hedgehog knew it.
(somewhere in green hill zone)
off in the distance a voice called out over in over but sonic who lay resting in a tree had no intention of being found by the annoying two tailed one. "damn...its been 2 years since the incedent....that jackass egghead must be up to something...."
sonic's ears than tweaked to the sound of a rustle of tree infront of him "hey what the hell do you want show yourself" out from behind the tree came a voice that chilled even sonic, "you...your not shadow, who are you!" before he could blink there right infront of him stood a hedgehog carying a large book with wierd characters hed never seen before, his eyes were a cold yellow, his face showed no emotion. His hair was a dark almost black greenish blue, with bright green makrings on his spines and ears. (?) what stands before you blue one is ....Cin!"

On Angel Island, hanging high in the air, Knuckles, the red, anti-social Echinda, continued doing what he had always done since he could remember. He guarded the Master Emerald. It rested peacfully, shining a vivid green in its place at the altar where Knuckles stood vigilantly watching day and night. The greatest threat that ever was posed to him up here in the sky was the rare high-altitude plane (though, the greatest threat posed to the Master Emerald were all the times when Knuckles was tricked into the service of Eggman...). The planes never saw him because of cloud cover, anyway. Never once had another living soul touched this sacred place while it was still in the air.
Knuckles' senses prickled for a moment. Something was not right; he felt the presence of another. Without moving, he raised his voice, "You had better leave now, before I throw you off unconcious!"
He heard a noise as if someone had just dropped from a high place and landed softly on the stone behind him. He turned sharply and layed his eyes on a smirking, lavender Raccoon Dog. She stood with one hand on her hip, and she was dressed in ninja garbs. Her golden eyes seemed to sparkle in amusement as she looked him over silently.
After a moment of contemplation on each of them by each of them, she spoke, "You sure aren't very friendly. I just dropped by to have a little chat!"
Knuckles found himself wonder for a moment how she managed to reach Angel Island so indiscreetly, but his more prominent problem surfaced: he needed to get rid of her before she did any harm to the Master Emerald, "Leave here, now. I am not here to chat with you."
"Are you the only one here, guarding this little pup?" she was patting the top of the Master Emerald.
"Get your hands off the Master Emerald!!" Knuckles charged forward, his spiked fist leading, but he hit only air. He glanced around, looking for the Raccoon Dog.
"My name is Echo, lonely Echidna! Better remember it!"
The Raccoon Dog was nowhere to be found.

(Sonic)"what the hell kinda name is Cin!? And what do you want with me?" (CIN) "My name has plenty of meaning and thought put into it, as for my intentions....you will find out soon.." sonic than started geting frustrated, " listen here pal I don't know what your planing but.." sonic was cut short by the loud sound of Cins gaint book opening. Cin than pointed to a wierd character in the book, the character than glowed brightly, all of a sudden a giant portal apeared behind Cin. (sonic) "what the hell is that?!" with out answering sonics question he jumped into the portal and vanished with it. "jesus this day couldn't get any worse..." (tails) "SONIC there you are!
else where on top of a tall building in the city a black portal apeared and with it Cin. Cin than looked about and closed his book "I see your done playing with the guardian..." out of the shadows came Echo with a grin on her face.

Interesting indeed...next time remember that this is RP, not story telling  You can't control others' charas, so try stuff like making your characters hint at what you want mine to do next, like having Cin say "Where is that Echo, she's late..." Wakaru?)))
Echo walked to the edge of the building and let the city winds rush up at her. After a moment, she commented, "Damn city winds are too dirty, after visiting such a sacred place," she reminiced about the sky island, with its crisp, cold winds that made you feel like you were about to be reborn, clean and new.
She lifted her head toward the blue horizon and began her mission report, "Angel Island is indeed the home of the Master Emerald. It is similar to the Chaos Emeralds in its shape and its undoubtable power. However, the power it houses is completely different from the Chaos Emeralds; the power is unknown at this point, though I don't think it will be of use, at any rate. The Emerald is immense, and would be hard to gain control of because of this, and also because it is guarded by a single male Echidna. His physical power is not to be doubted, though his intelligence is probably average. He is fiercely protective of the Master Emerald, which should also be taken into consideration."
Echo faced Cin, "To sum up, the Master Emerald is too cumbersome to try and intergrate into the plan at this point, and the purpose and power of the gem is unknown, to boot." She grinned mischeviously at Cin, "So, were you able to find your Shadowy boytoy??"

An iratated look came upon his face "the Project known as Shadow has yet to be found, although I did meet up with the blue one.." his face went to its calm state again as he walked over to the edge where Echo was. he looked down toward the city streets filled with people "Hes going to be a problem later on that one..." he than placed his giant book behind him and sat down, and stared further at the human race "why does he protect those that he does not even know...those that have known nothing but sin..."

The lavender raccoon dog contemplated Cin's question, but did not make a reply. She had her own ideas of course, but she did not like sharing them without having full understanding of all aspects invovled. She had never met Sonic, or any of the other famous animals she had heard of, except for Knuckles just now. She hadn't even strayed from her ninja village before Cin hired her to help him. She had a lot to learn about this world.
Meanwhile, on Angel Island, Knuckles had returned to guarding the Master Emerald, but he wore a look of intense frustration. The clean winds that usually calmed him were only making him more annoyed. He thought to himself, 'That damn raccoon dog...Echo...how the hell did she find a way up here...'
Further thoughts pressed him, like how she vanished like she did, or why she had come up to Angel Island in the first place. Then suddenly Knuckles had a sick feeling in his stomch. It had only happened during those times when Angel Island returned to meet the Earth. He steeled himself for a moment. Nothing.
"What is going...ooooonnnnn!!" Knuckles could hardly keep his breath as the ancient world's last remaining piece plummetted towards the ocean below.

Sonic was running away from the annoying tails when in the cornner of his eye he saw Angel island falling. with out thought he ran as fast as he could, he had to see what the hell was going on. when he got there Angel island was in the ocean, with out wasting time he began yelling out knuckles name. there was no response......the only thoughts in his mind at this moment were is Knuckles safe and was this the work or Cin

Knuckles blinked his eyes. The sound of an annoying voice had awoken him. He tried to stand, but he tried too hard and only made himself dizzy. He tried sitting. Ok, that worked well. He glanced around for the voice that had awoken him while he let his head slow down. He started to feel bruises form from the landing, nothing he couldn't deal with though.
At last he saw the blue blur that had been calling his name. Knuckles felt steady enough now, and tried to stand once more. Success! Knuckles walked over to the edge of Angel Island and waved one gloved-hand, getting Sonic's attention. At the same time, Knuckles noticed that the Island had once again landed near Red Mountain; images of Chaos, the monster who protected the tiny Chao-creatures, flashed in his head.
He had to find a way across the space that separated Angel Island from the mainland...
In the busy heart of Station Square, on top of a skyscraper, Echo contemplated the situation. It was still between the two figures, only the wind and traffic broke the silence. After several long minutes, Echo stated briefly, "Call if you need me." Anyone else listening wouldn't have known that Echo was gone, but she had left just the same, without a sound.
In a tropical tree in the middle of a jungle, some leaves rustled. Echo had retreated to her favorite alone place, and was now resting peacefully among the tree's foliage. She half-closed her eyes, keeping vigilant but still relaxing. She loved the sound of the birds in the trees, and the river flowing beneath her. She remembered her homevillage, it was in a forest as well, but a northern place that was much cooler. The trees had needles for leaves there, but the birds sounded just as sweet.
"...and then you tie the lure like this, Froggy," Echo pricked her levender ears, someone was coming nearer along the path that wound through this jungle, "I just wish that falling island hadn't ruined my first lure...it was really lucky, don't you think Froggy?"
Echo sat up, eyes fully open, the first real movement she had done since she arrived.
Falling island?
