Mika rested her head against the soft straw of her bed, as the running hoofbeats of the Rohan Horses drummed a deep lulling tune, as if trying to help her get some sleep.
When the sun finally rose on this day, it would be her first real battle against the evil forces of Mordor...

Celebithil rode proudly on the glowing white horse, surrounded my members of her elf party. They passed through the gates of Rohan and settled down in a grassy area, tending to their horses.
She shook some blonde hair out of her pale face and stared around herself, making sure that everything was ready. They came here to help the peple of Rohan fight agaist Mordor, and thats just what they would do.

Despite the calming energy resonating from the slightly restless horses, sleep felt the strong need to evade Mika. She gave up the fight and walked out of her cabin, the chill wind pressing through her thin nightclothes and wrapping itself around her strong Rohan body.
She welcomed the cool wind and closed her eyes, breathing in the calm morning. When she opened her eyes again she noticed a clean light coming from the bottom of her slope-side village.
"The elves have arrived" she said, plainly, no trace of like or dislike in her voice. She had never met an elf before, and there were mixed feelings about them within her Rohan brethren, and thus she decided not to prejudge them before she had even gotten a clear view of their true purposes.

After setting up camp, Celebithil left the others and went off to have a look around. This was her first time in Rohan, and she wasn't about to let this experience get away.
She secured the bow and arrows on her back and walked toward where she presumed the town square would be. She ignored the stares she was getting and looked around.
She should be lucky she was even allowed to be here, Celebithil thought. Her family was less than joyous to have her go off and kill herself in a war. However, she talked them into it, and was finally able to experience battle for the first time.

Mika noticed a lone elf walking towards her, looking around at the sights of Rohan. Mika calmly watched the elf and as she passed her, she called out in a gentle voice, "Enjoying your stay?"

"My name is Mika Hadrenthal, and I am the leader of the Second Rank of the First Division of the Riders of Rohan." Mika stated, a hint of pride in her voice.
"I assume that you all have come to help us fight Mordor, have you not?" Mika gestured to the army of elves resting at the gates of her beloved Rohan, "If you are, I must thank you in advance, for I know this will not be an easy battle, nor will it be the last."
But if you aren't, I am quizzical as to why you've decided to stop here; it is certainly not the most friendly of places for those of your kind," Mika added, nodding at the morbid and hateful faces of the older citizens of her village.

The Elf shook her head, "You are right in assuming we come to help you in battle. Mordor is the enemy of all the free peoples of Middle Earth, not just Man. Our honor demands it that we participate in this war."
"Though this place is not one that I would normally visit, that fact should be overlooked for now." she smiled again.
"We do not have to fight yet for another 3 or 4 days, at the least, so would you like to keep me company for now? Perhaps you can tell me more about your people."
