Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
"This is an outrage!! We're supposed to be moving toward a Democracy" Chancellor Liftworp shouted to the court.
Before him in the throne sat a gaunt man with sandy blonde hair that fell around his shoulders and steel gray eyes. He wore a crown of laurels and was draped in purple robes, a thin scar traveled down the right side of his face to his neck.
Chancellor Liftworp stared into King Mordrid's eyes. Modrid simply tapped his stag spine staff on the side of his throne and the Chancellor bowed swiftly all the way to the floor.
"I..I'm sorry your Majesty. Please forgive my outburst, King Mordrid." The Chancellor muttured.
"Rise, Liftworp." The King said, his voice sounded so odd. As though the pitch was kind but the tone was as thick as a cobra's venom.
"Now." Mordrid said. "I have ruled that the Society shall no longer be a free monarchy. Rather, we shall be an Empire." Mordrid stood, his thin bare chest heaving with frustration beneath the sheer purple robes.
"Britian's Magical Kingdom will now expand throughout the World." He said. "We will unite this planet and connect the Ancient Magic that has been borken here." He grinned and brushed back his bangs as he stared at the Chancellor. "As for those who oppose this knew agenda...well...they shall be tried and punsihed for betraying their king."
"Please your majesty!" The Chancellor begged. "I have always ben loyal...I..."
Mordrid said nothing, he did not raise his hand, nor his wand or staff, all he did was blink and the Chancellor instantly turned into a bone white skeleton.
"Find his family." Mordrid ordered a woman in gray roes. "And kill them." He crushed the Chancellor's skull with the heel of his boot.
"Tonight, we will begin building a Great Temple and use it to open the Black gate. The Gate that connects all worlds." Mordrid said as he caressed the stag spine staff.
"My lord, how will we build such a temple?" A heavy man in green robes asked.
"With slaves, Edgar." Mordrid grinned as he stared at a picture of London on his desk. "Muggle slaves."
* * * * * * * * *
Albus Dumbledore sprinted as fast as he could. He stumbled and skidded as he made corners to platform 9 and 3/4.
"Albus!" his mother called after him.
He ran hard, almost to the platform.
"Albus!!" His mother shouted again.
"Yeah Mum?" He asked as he turned, grinning in his brand new black and burgundy lined velvet Gryffindor robes that the Varbini's had bought for him. He'd grown over the past year and at twelve was forming into a handsome young man and was looking less and less like the clumsy little boy he once was.
"You've forgotten something." his mother said, pushing a cage with a black cloth over it.
"He's a Pheonix Albus!" His mother sighed. "Honestly."
"Right mum." Albus laughed. "I forgot."
He hugged his mom.
"Albus." his mom said as she looked into his bright blue eyes. "Be safe this year."
"Mum, I will, you know I will." He laughed.
'I mean it, with the way politics are and the rumors, one can't be too careful." She said.
"I know, Mum, I know. I'll be at Hogwarts, it's safe there." Albus said reassuringly.
"Now, I love you, my son." She said and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.
"Mum!" Albus said. "You're emberassing me!"
"Albus, please." She said. "Just let me kiss you goodbye."
"No, mum. I'm a teenager now. How about a hug?" he said.
"Alrgiht." his mother said and Albus squeezed her close.
"By Mum!" Albus said and zoomed to platform nine, slamming into it.
"Nine and three quarters! Three quarters!" His mom called, trying to hide her laughter.
"Right." Albus snickered. "I knew that." He darted through 9 and 3/4.
"Hogwarts Express! All aboard! Last call for the Hogwarts Express!!" The conductor called as Albus made his way onto the train and looked for Solis, Elizabeth, Dante and Ceres. In hopes to share a car with one of them.

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
Elizabeth had been sitting on the Hogwarts Express since it had first arrived. Her whole family had left Scotland to accompany her father on a research trip to Arabia. He was currently studying modern Rocs and their distant relationship to the Phoenix; Elizabeth was offered a chance to join them and take home study for a year, but she mildly declined saying that she had friends to tend to. So here she was, sitting alone in this car for the past two hours, not noticing the slowly growing trickle of passengers that had slipped past her door. Her heavy, black lashes shielded the calm, vacant expression in her eyes as she gazed at the peaceful landscape through the window.

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
A young girl, no older than 12, looked out the window when she heard her parents fall asleep.
Good there's no moon tonight. She thought as she began to bind the ends of her sheets together. Her dark blue eyes had a slight glow to them as her heart raced. She had to calm down otherwise she wouldn't be able to think strait. She tied the sheets to the handle on her trunk and eased it down to the ground. Then she climbed down to land behind the rose bushes. Checking to make sure there was no noise above she opened the trunk and took out a light cloak made of a sturdy green material. Once it was around her neck she shut the trunk and made her way to the white fence.
Almost there. She thought as she reached for the gate. An inch more and she was free but suddenly her cloak snagged on something. Laurea turned to see two little creatures holding onto the material with their teeth. One was a dragon, no bigger than arm length, with beautiful scales that where as red as life's blood spilled upon the sands. The other was a gryphon, only a tad smaller than the dragon, with the traditional brown fur and feathers.
The little ones where a few of the creatures that Laurea's family had taken care of. It wasn't easy having to tend to the different creatures wounds but at least it was good money. The only reason she was allowed to keep the dragon was because, one, she could talk to her and, two, the dragon would not grow. It was over 200 years old and had not grown since it had hatched. But the griphon had been born here and lived with its mother. The great Gryphon was scheduled to be returned to her owner the following week, along with Ainatar.
"Fenume, Ainatar!" She whispered to them. "What are you doing here?! You two should be asleep!" The dragon's sending came to her head. It was all picture and no sound with it’s pictures in different shades of red. The sending was of a book that turned and opened. On it’s pages there was a grand Castle with an enormous lake at its base. Laurea looked down at the little dragon.
“Yes I’m going to Hogwarts. And I don’t care what they say.” She said as she looked up at her parents window. The light was still off and everything was still quiet. She looked back at the little ones again. “I'm sick of homeschooling. So don’t wake them.” The dragon dropped Laurea’s cloak, shook her head and looked at the young gryphon. Ainatar looked at her and had a cat’s smile on her face. She dropped the cloak and ran off towards the grounds that all the creatures. Soon the little one came back accompanied by a large, female gryphon.
“Angaina.” She said as she made a small bow. The magnificent beast gave a head bow and, once she had erected herself, spread out her magnificent wings.
“You want to take me?” She said with awe. Angaina nodded and knelt so Laurea could climb on. “Oh thank you, Angaina.” She said as she ran over. The little ones tried to hope on as well.
“No you can’t come.” Laurea said as she got onto the Gryphon’s back. Another sending came into her mind. This was of Laurea and Angaina flying in the sky with Fenume and Ainatar flying right behind them. Laurea sighed. “Alright, but hurry. I don’t want to stay here for to long.” It to no time for the two to be in Laurea’s arms. “Alright Angaina, let’s go.” The eagle wings began to pump and soon they where rising 20, 30, 40 feet above the ground. They where soon flying towards London to find the train station that would let them follow the Hogwarts Express.

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
Enla walked calmly threw the platform, her parent had only driven her there, but not walk her in. ah, yes, that lovely muggle blood of theres, yet some how, some one in there family had magic blood thus enla now did to. She didnt regret it one bit.
She was hesitant to walk on to the Train, yet would she let a fear rule what she did? She couldn't yet the same searing pain in her forhead fought her interest in going. The fingered the tip of a pill bottle in her pocket. Still it was but a faint mumble of others thoughts in the back of her mind.
She heard a faint mumble that gave her a spark of energy. She trunced over to albus.
"albus! good to see you!"

Ablus laughed as he put his hands on Enla's shoulders. "You did come back this year!" He grinned. "I'm so glad!"
He walked with her as they looked in each car, finally they saw Elizabeth in the fifth boxcar down. Albus opened the door and he sat across from Elizabeth and beckoned for Enla to join them.
"This is going to be a great year!" Albus grinned. "I can feel it!"

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
Solis flipped her many braids over her shoulder. Her mother had insisted that she wear her full royal garb this year, and that she 'NOT under any circumstances' play Quidditch. She sighed as the long looks she got from people who didn't recognize her from the previous year's simple robes and smiled slightly when she saw the Malfoy boy's (The bad one, who's name Xar can't remember) jaw drop nearly to the ground as she stepped out of her chariot.
She boarded the train, confident that her bags would be handled by her servants, and made her way toward the back of the train.
In the fifth car, she heard laughter she recognized and smiled again, a real smile. "Hi all. Mind if I join you?" Her long flowing white gown (of Egypt, of course) was covered in strings of jewels and tiny bells. Her long hair was braided into a million teensy braids, each one capped off with a golden clasp, her headdress closely resembled the crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt...you get the idea.
(OOC: SQUWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo excited you opened this up again Kryllen!!!! *Dances the uber supreme dance of happiness*)

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
((OOC: Yess YEss I was afraid I would miss out on it Yay and thanks bunches))
It was daytime by the time the group arived over London and Laurea was fast a sleep on Angaina's shoulder. The gryphon looked back and shrugged her shoulder a few times to wake her up.
"Wha?" Laurea said as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. She looked down and smiled. "We're almost there." Laurea said as she erected herself. There was a mew of protest from Ainatar, for Laurea's body heat had kept her warm. Laurea looked over Angaina's shoulder to see The full layout of London. As she watched the land go by she felt a startled thought come into her mind.
Where IS the train. She dug out the letters from her pocket and held onto her wand so it wouldn't fall.
"Let's see." Laurea said as she looked at the first letter. This was the one that had amazed her the most.
Miss L. Bluesummers
Second Bedroom Upstairs
Legacy Lane
Kent
She giggled at it again. Magic was so great. She then opened the letter that had been written by Professer Binns.

Professer Binns ((ooc: I can't remember his whole name ))
Laurea put the letters back into her pocket and twiddled with her wand. Just a little more and she could be with other people who where Real witches and Wizards, not just her mum and dad. A Squauk brought her back and she looked back at Angaina.
"We're looking for Kings Cross." She said as she looked back down onto London. Soon she would be able to find out more about her familey history
A sending entered her head. It was of Fennume flying far from the ground lookeing like a small bird.
"ALright but be careful." laurea said as she held the dragon up into the air. Fennume's wings snappedopen and She quickly caught a curent of air. she was soon diving down and moving quickly. At the rate she was flying, no muggle would be able to see her.
It wasn't long before Fenume reurned sending Fireworks into her mind.
"Alright! Angaina! You know what to do." The gryphon gave a tryumphent call and once the dragon had begun it's speedy dive, so did the rest of the group. It didn't take long for the group to be behind the Train staiton of Kings Cross.
"Thank you so much, Angaina." Laurea said as she bowed. the great catbird just gave a cat-like smile and flapped her wings gently. Laurea laughed and hugged the great beast around the neck. "I owe you so much. I will miss you so much." She then went to Ainatar. "I will miss you to, Little Angel." The little one gave a mew of distress and Laurea took her in her arms. "Huss now, all freinds go their seprate ways. But that dose not meen they are no longer together." The little one licked Laurea's chin when she set her down and just before they all parted, Angaina gave a soft call. Laurea turned to see her nuddging Ainatar towards her.
"Oh no i couldn't do that." Angaina shook her head and Fennume sent her thoughts to her. It said that the little one had grown attatched and she wanted her to stay with Laurea.
Laurea ran up and gave Angaina a hard hug around the neck.
"Thank you so much." she said through tears. "I'll take good care of her."
Soon Angaina parted and Laurea had Fennume hold her wings to her side.
"There now you look like one of those long African Lizards." She smiled as Fennume gave a hough of dissaproval. "Alright Ainatar come here." She wrapped the little one in her cloak with only her head showing. If anyone were to ask, she was taking this baby bird to her fathers hospice. As she walked around the corner she saw a young woman around her age, dressed in a beautiful white gown, step out of a carrage.
"I wonder where she's from." Laurea said to Fennume, whowwas sitting on her shoulder. the dragon's ussual red senings came to her. It was of a musium with Egyption artafacts and treasures. "I guess your right." The dragon bobbed her head as they entered the staiton.
Laurea pulled out her ticket.
"Platform 9 and 3/4. Ok then where's nine." She looked around and after a few minuets she found platform nine. She then went up to the collem that was 3/4 the way to platform 10. "Alright here it gose." She backed up and held tight onto Ainatar. A sending that depicted 'Don't be scared' came into her mind. Laurea smiled and walked quickly towards the portal, eyes closed. She kept on walking and a stream of fireworks bombarded her head. Laurea opened her eyes to see a grand black and red train in front of her.
"Oh wow!" she said as she looked around at all the people. They all wore black robes. She smiled. "I'm finaly here." She went onto the train and looked around. "Now where to sit."

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
Enla sat next to Elizabeth. The noise in her mind began to quite to an ignorable hum in the back. Though she still fingered the cap that rested in her pocket.
"Hello Elizabeth"
Enla said with a smile to her friend. Something familiar sounded in the back of her head. her eyes widend then she smiled.
"Solis is here!"
enla smiled then that smile fadded quickly. The effects of her medicine were wearing off! it was hard to tell amongst freinds who allready knew about it. The dim hum grew a tiny bit larger allong with a flash of color that came from only something small. A hint of annoyance at some one for letting something be 'like that be seen. What was that? Solis anger at her mother seeped int to.
Her fingers worked rapidly to unscrew the bottle and pull one of the multicolor pills from it and put it in her mouth and swallowed as quick as possible. A tiny breath of relief
flooded threw her.

Re: Hogwarts Role Play Year Two: The Wizard And The Alchemist
Laurea walked by every car, looking for an empty one so that she could be alone with her freinds. She past a car that had two young boys, both with White blond hair. It was clear to see who was the oldest, cause one was griping at the other with the older brother like tone. She stood there smiling at the fight, it was slightly amusing to her for she had no siblings of her own, When the older boy looked up. He had a very handsome face and when their eyes met, Laurea could feel her face blush and she quickly moved on. She made her way to the back of the train there was one car with two young women and a young man.
"Wow, Ainatar. Look at all the people here." She said as she continued on. Her thoughts still lingered on the blond boy and Fennume had to force her sendings to the girl before she ran into the wall.
The very last car was empty so she went in and set the two down. Laurea took a few books from her trunk and put it on the rack. Laurea unwraped Ainatar and sat down beside the gryphon and dragon, holding her wand in front of her.
Mahogany, 11 inches, Sturdy. She twirled it between her fingers and looked at Ainatar and Fennume.
"THis is going to be an interesting year my freinds." she said as she opened Hogwarts: A History.

"hey!"
A young maiden possibly a first year opened the door to the empty room that laurea sat in.
Mind if join you? Lovely creatures you have!"
her accent was irish almost, her hair was a orangeish color giving the sign she was a mutt in genetics.
"Names Tira"
She held her hand out to Laurea.
