Laurea looked up from Hogwarts: A History when Tira entered and smiled.
"No I don't mind." Ainatar got up and started a deep thruming and LAurea laughed. "It seems you have a new freind." Fennume shot rainbows of agreement into her head and moved so Tira would have a place to sit.
"I'm called Laurea." She said taking Tira's hand and shaking it. "This one's Ainatar," The Gryphon Purred even louder. "And the other one is Fennume." When her name was metioned she stood into a hind foot rise, spread her wings and raked the air with her front claws in a way of greating. Laurea smiled at her.
"So what year are you?" She asked as she sat back down with Ainatar in her lap.

Tira said warmly, she seemed quite warmly. Her eyes were a deep amber color. Her nose was small as was her body. Thin like an elf but short like a dwarf. She smiled and it was warm like fire.
"Ah! I see ya 'ave a dragon and gryphon. I could guess your family deals with magical beasts, 'ave ya eva seen a mine? like one of the old ones?"
Her eye's flicked with a hint of excitment, mines must be terribly exciting for the young one.

"Well you should realy like Hogwarts." She said, trying to sound like she had been there before. Fennume sent her a thought that clearly saidm "You don't have to act, I like this girl." Laurea laghed and picked the dragon up into her arms. She remembered when she had first met Fennume, she was just a small girl at the time and Fennume stil had that deep blood like color in her scales. Laurea had scraped her hand before meeting her and Fennume had licked the wound clean. It was from then on that they had been able to comunicate mind to mind.
"I think i do to, my freind." She put Fennume next to her and began to stroke Ainatar's fur. "Yes, my mother and father run a small vetinary center for Magical creatures." She was scrattchin behind Ainatar's ears when something dawned on her. "In fact i don't know if i'm allowed to have either of these two with me." She looked up.
"A Mine? I might have. I rarely remember any creature by speicies." SHe gave an Embaraced smile. "I only call them their name. Dad told me it's amazing how i can tell the differance between the animals, But i don't see why. Everyone can hear animals voices, they're all differant."

"not really, its 'a rare gift it is, to 'ear them animals. The old mines, I can 'ear the stones so we've both got something unique. ma' dad runs a large mine beneath the montains, lovely place, largest place for gems ever."
Tira took out a ring with a ruby polish on the top and showed it laurea.
"'his nothin' but a small gem from the mine, found it and polished it my self using only my hands."
Tira said it proudly, before slipping the ring onto a shortish but obivously human like hand with a bit of hard flesh at the tips.
"love the mines I do, plently of places to dig and hide."

"oh you mean like underground." Laurea laughed at her own stupidity. "I thought it might be some forein type of creature like the sphinx or Cerberus." Ainatar's head snapped towards Tira when she bought out the ring. Being both cat and bird, the little one was facinated with shiny things. Ainatar jumped up and lept to the floor. Whenever Tira would mover her hand Ainatar would jump and try to catch this shiny thing waving over her head. Fennume streached, maken her wings streach out once more. She then tilted her head towards the ring and gave a small thruming noise before lying back down. Laurea looked down at her and smiled. "Fennume says Those are her favorite stones. Ainatar likes anything shiny, but i prefure Saphires above all others, well maybe not above dimonds." She smiled at the thought. She then pulled on a chain around her neck and the carm, about as wide as her fist, slipped from out of her shirt. It was made of some silver metal and at it's heart was a beautiful blue stone.
"It was my grandmothers. The stone's a blue dimond, my favorite stone of all, but this is the only one i've ever seen. So i usualy collect Saphires." She smiled as Ainatar Climbed up to play with her necklace. "The only reason i let her bite it is because she can't scratch it or break it. I don't know what it's made of but boy dose it keep it's shape." She smiled as Ainatar turned on her back and began to play with it more vigourously. "Be gentle little one. Don't get your paw stuck again." The gryphon purred and turned back onto her stomach. She then set to preening her wings.

"Its blue diamond, one of the more rarest gems in the world, I've seen lots of little chunks of it. though thats fairly large, the downsize is that its mistaken for a sapphire and sometimes one can find much larger Sapphires than that inwhich con artists sell 'em as blue diamonds. I'm curious, can I see yer stone?"
Tira said look at the stone with large amber eyes. Focused on the tiny details.

Laurea looked down at Fennume and the Dragon sent a chuckling pattern into her head. Laurea smiled and removed the necklace and handed it to Tira. Ainatar Jumped over to Tira's seat and sat beside her.
"You love that necklace to much, Little Angel." Laurea said as she tapped Fennume under the chin. The dragon loved it when Laurea did that and thrummed very loudly.
"That's a dragon around the stone." Laurea said as she watched Tira examine it. "It's kind of like a protective thing." She shrugged. "Mum ussed to say it had a protective spell over it, but i don't really think so."

"yes its real, mostly, that dragon stone could be protective.."
She looked at the metal. The tiny details seemed so vivid to her it was almost unatural. Though this was not that unsual to her, being part dwarf.
"If it that dragon ring 'as a spell its a dwarvish one I bet."

Fennume Rose her head and sendings of surprise shot through her head. She then looked at Laurea.
'The case, the case.' she thought as she looked up at Laurea's Trunk. Laurea gave a puzzled look and then shrugged. She got up and retrieved the trunk from the rack. once it was down Fennume had Laurea open it and she was soon crawling over the items. She nosed aside some robes untill she got to a leather bound book. She picked it up carfuly with her teeth and held it up to Laurea, who took it and opened it.
"What about it?" Laurea said as Fennume nudged her hand. The little dragon sent her a picture with the book being opened to August 15. Laurea did so and when she opened the page she saw a detailed drawing of the necklace.
"Listen to this!" Laurea said excitedly after skimming over it. "...The Dwarves of Dwerodelf gave me this necklace of amazing craft. They offered more but i simply could not take it. The detail is that of a female dragon with a blue egg. There is writting on the bottom that is clearly the Dwarf language but there is writing at the top that is deffinatly not. It's a flowing pattern and i have reason to beleive that it is elvish." Laurea looked for the page before it but several pages had been ripped out. "No wonder the dimond is so huge." Laurea said as she looked again at the charm she had had since, well, since before she could remember. "It's from the times when elves and dwarves worked together." She looked back down at the old book. "I wonder what she could have done..." She stopped and held her hand to her chest, where the charm usualy hung, and sighed. Fennume flapped her wings and sent a chuckling thought through their minds.
"Little Flame mouth," Laurea said to the dragon. "Me thinkst thou knows more then thee let on." The little Dragon only opened her mouth. Had she not been a mute she would have sent out a roar. Although it would not have been like the full grown dragon's Roars. Laurea laughed and poked her chest plates, recieving a batting from the dragons claws. Fennume was very tickleish there.

Solis smiled at her friends and came in to sit down. "I've missed you all so very much." She said and sighed. She turned her head and stared at the floor by the door of thier car. "Go away you." She said. A strikingly beautiful silver Mau stretched her long limbs and made a spectacular yawn before she made her way out of the car and toward the back of the train. Solis heaved a heavy sigh. "That's Anukis, mum gave her to me as a birthday present this year." She shook her head. "I hate that creature, she never leaves me alone unless I specifically tell her to."
Anukis made her way languidly to the last car in the train and mewed royally at it's entrance before she stepped in and sat down in the middle of the floor, and cleaned on paw. She looked up at the tiny griphon and dragon and then at the two girls as if just noticing they were there. "Meeeerooow?" She batted her eyes at them.
