Elemyst closed the door to the small appartament with a small sigh of relief. The police were getting so suspicious nowadays that if they even suspected you of being a mutant, they had direct permission from the governer to arrest by any means possible.
This kind of thing had stirred up the local mutant gangs to instant retaliation and the fighting was going on all over the south side of the city. Exactly where Elemyst and his little sister Stephanie lived. smack dab in the middle of it.
so it was only natural for him to sigh with relief whenever he or his fifteen year old sister got home in one piece. three houses down, the roof had been blown off by some crazed mutant seeking escape from the paralizing guns of the police forces. Even several Marines had been spotted once or twice.
"Stephanie!" Elemyst called. "I'm home!" she came out of the back bedroom with a towl around her head. apparantly just out of the shower. "oh good." she said. just in time for dinner.

((I'm gonna join as two characters cuz its fun and I really only have four to five rp characters :P ))
Leona squished her self up against Keo's warmly clothed and blanketed body. Their two tails were curled around theirbodies for added warmth.
Leona was about 13 years of age now and very small still. She hardly broke 4 foot. She her self had a large fox colored tail and two gray wolf ears. Her hair was blue and her skin was increasingly paler with the tempature around them. She was thin in frame and rather sweet natured but a coward. Her look gave her away so she generally traveled around as a greyish white dog with keo who was hooded.
Keo claimed to have leprosy when in public. SHe to was diffrent, she said she was half demon and while, leona didn't believe this, leona didn't now what she was. (keo had her own thoughts) Keo was slightly taller than Leona but mostly leg. Her hair wasblack and her eyes were a bright green but pupiless, giving the impression she was blind. She two had a tail but it was rather short wolf like one and a pair of maned wolf sized ears black colored on her head, that and a pair of wings. The wings changed in size and this was use ful for hiding, Keo had one other talent and both girls had a sword they found.
((I know their not really 'mutants' but demons in my mind are just humans with more dna chains and tighter bound helixs.so, about the same thing))

Omalthia adjusted her red boustier beneath her black trench coat and tip-tip-tapped her way down the street in her bright red leather Bit** boots. (You know? The kind with the four inch stilletto heels?  ) She had been tailing this boy for a while now, the Proffesor had said he had some potential. (May or may not be Prof. X, it's up to Atti!) And so, as acting leader of the X-Men, Omalthia was following him, keeping the interest of the police off of him and his sister. She had been authorized to use ANY means nessacary to do so, and had even blown the roof off of a house near by when it had appeared that attention was wavering toward her charges.
Now, she had just got off the comm with the Prof. and he had asked her to bring them in.
She knocked on the door.

Leona said peering across the side walk at the house they'd recently plundered garbage from to eat. and now had a person standing front of it.
"do nothing its not our buisness Leona"
Keo pullled the blanket tighter and decidely looked away. Feeling rather dejected by what she knew.

Rimpa looked out the window into the dark sky as she scratched the fur on the back of her neck.
"Femume!" She called while turning to look around the house. There was a small amount of movement and a large, white lizard with white wings climbed from on top of the bookshelf. It looked down at her with it's large blue eyes and fluttered it's wings.
"Get down her and turn back to normal, Fenume." The Dragon looked at her with a slightly descusted look but finally climbed down.
"You almost got us caught, young lady. What do you think you where doing?"
"I don't know what your talking about." Said the young woman that now stood where the small dragon had once been. She ran her fingers through her white hair and suddenly scratched the scales on her wrist. There where patches of scales all over her, but they never stayed. every once in a while she would either be compleatly covered in smooth skin and other times she would be compleatly covered in scales.
"You know very well what i'm talking about. You went down to the southern part of the city, didn't you? I told you I don't want you going down there..." Fenume interupted her in mid sentance.
"Dose it look like i really care...Morwen." The name was more like a taunt and Rimpa took it.
"I told you, Never call me that!" She said pointing her finger at her sister.
"Well then stop lecturing me. Your not mom." Rimpa slapped Fenume across the face.
"For once Fenume think before you run your mouth. Mother told me to watch out for you. We're all we have left. And besides..." She said with a smile. "It's been a long time since I Have had a good fight. It's not fair for you to get to have all the fun." Fenume looked at her sister for a minuet and a smile slowly spread over her face.
"All right Rimpa. The gangs meeting tonight at nine."
"Then we better get going." Said a large black wolf that replaced rimpa's human form. Fenume morphed back into her dragon form and walked over to the door.
"Wait a minuet." Rimpa said. Fenume turned and looked at her. "You know the rule when we travel." Fenume sighed but didn't fight. a few minuets later a black dog came out of the house with a lizard in it's mouth. The lizard lifted it's head for one moment, wispered, "I hate you." And then dropped back to look like it was dead.

"um, a friend of mine is coming for dinne if you don't mind, he should be here any minute." Stephanie looked at Elemyst with shock and question in her eyes. "it's all right, he won't lead the cops here or nothin, he's actually part of the TorNock gang. he's been trying to get me to join them and i'd be willing to bet this is his newest attempt." Stephanie's look of question seemed to worsen. "what? a gang member here! I thought that you said you would stay here with me?" Elemest was the one that was taken aback now. "well of course i'd never leave you, i mentioned he was trying to "convert" me just as a point of conversation. i'd never leave you. \
Stephanie looked hesitantly at him. just then, there was a knock at the door. "oh, that'll be him i suppose." Elemyst said, he went to open the door."

"Hello fellows." Omalthia grinned her best. "Might a gal come in and have a chat?" She didn't wait for an answer just swirled into the room, pulling the door shut behind her. She looked around and spotted Stephanie. "Greetings child!" She said happily. "I've come to speak with you and your brother on a matter of great importance. Are your parents home? No?! PERFECT!" She flopped onto the floor and promptly, the tall slender, scantily clad woman was replaced with a rather friendly looking white fox with two tails. "Make yourselves comfortable, this could take a while!" She giggled and wagged her tails.

Leona curled up and tried to wrap her tail around her body for warmth. She did this on habit not because she was cold but becuase it was habit for her. Hyperthermia and that sort thing didn't harm her in any way.
Keo curled up tighter and flicked a bit of water of her ear by twitching it. She pulled the cover over her head and wrapped her wings around her shoulders.
"gang's are meeting tonight.."

As Rimpa walked down the street, several people looked at her.
"The cities getting full of stray mutts." was one of the usual things she heard. At one of the streets, a tall man tried to grab Fenume away from her. She had given him a menising growl and took off in the other direction. She now turned down an ally and dropped Her sister. The white dragon looked at her.
"What is it?"
"Give me a minuet." She said as she caught her breath. "You taste about as good as you act." Fenume glared at her.
"Ha-ha very funny." Suddenly Rimpa’s nose picked up a demon’s scent.
"You smell that?" She said smelling the ground. Fenume lifted onto her hind legs and smelt the air.
"Yeah but what is it?" Rimpa looked back at her.
"Are you really that stupid? It’s a demon. But what a strange scent.” She began to once again smell the ground. “It’s that of a wolf but it has traces of a fox.”
“And you call me stupid. Couldn’t it be two demons?” Rimpa looked over her shoulder at the white lizard.
“No, it can’t.” She put her nose into the air. “I think she’s a half- breed but I can’t tell.”
“She? You can tell gender?” Rimpa chuckled as she began to walk around the alley.
“You could to if you weren’t so stubborn.” Suddenly her ears pricked up and she sniffed her way over to the end of the alley and looked around the corner.
“What is it?” Fenume whispered. Rimpa turned to look at her and motioned Fenume over. The little dragon weaved her way through her sister’s legs and pocked her long neck around the brick wall. There was a lump of a blanket and bit’s of a fur tail pocked out from beneath its soft exterior. Fenume started to slowly crawl towards it but suddenly Rimpa walked over her and tapped her on the head with her tail. She stopped about three feet away and stood tall in her human form.
“Fenume! Light a fire. These two need warmth.” The dragon pulled a plank of wood over and set it on fire. She then morphed to human and stood beside her sister.
