PLEASE READ: Anime/Manga Roleplay Rules
Please follow these rules when you role play in this forum. Violations will follow a three-strikes-you're-out policy (one strike, warning in the post and sent by PM; two strikes, deletion of the offending post(s); three strikes, ban from the message board). It may sound extreme but my fellow roleplayers will agree that someone who suddenly shows up and godmods the hell out of everyone or just doesn't respect a specific request laid down in the beginning of the RP is very annoying, to say the least.
No God Modding
This means having a character with no obvious flaws or weaknesses. In the early days of story roleplaying, we would give the example of Super Saiyan 5,000,000 Vegeta. God modders would just keep increasing their character's level so it was impossible for anyone else to defeat them. No "Super Saiyan 5,000,000 Vegeta"s allowed!
Control Only Yourself
In this style of roleplaying, everyone controls only their own characters. This is absolutely vital. The point of story-based roleplay is to make the situation unpredictable, fun, realistic, because everyone has equal power.
Use (OOC:)
OOC stands for Out Of Character. Please use it as a prefix for any post you make that is not part of the role play situation. Enclose the OOC post in parentheses, as well, to avoid confusion. (OOC: This is an example.)
Anime/Manga Only
This forum is for roleplays based on existing anime or manga series. If you want to make a video game or movie based roleplay, there are specific forums available for that. There is also a forum in case you would like to make a role play that is a crossover between an anime and a film, for example.
Lay Down Rules
When you start a new roleplay, is it highly recommended that you use your first post to lay down some basic rules that you would like followed (such as no original characters, or no powers, etc.). If you do not, you cannot go around making up rules as you go. If no specific rules are named, these basic rules will apply only.
Obey the Master
The Master is the person who started the particular thread that you are interested in. Always check the first post in the roleplay to check out the Master's specific rules, and make sure you follow them. If you don't, the Master can send a PM to me and I will deal with the offender.
Don't Just Leave
If you're going to be gone for a long time, or if you are quitting entirely, it is courteous to let the rest of your fellows know. You can let your character sit to the side if you plan on returning, or you can hand your character over to someone else you trust until you return. If you're leaving for good, you can kill off your character, or you can permanently hand them off to someone else.
