One Piece Requiem
Luffy slowly opened his eyes.
What happened?
He put his bloody arms under him and pushed himself up. A bolt of pain seared across his head, he reached up and felt dried blood caked on his scalp.
When did I black out?
He wobbled to a stand on sore leges and squinted all around, trying to make out the blurry images before him. Finally, his vision cleared and he saw that he was on a some sort of stage, though most of it was destroyed. There was an ampitheatre too, it's seats mangled, torn, and burned. The cieling had caved in and there was bits of broken glass everywhere, like thousands of diamonds.
That's right. It feels like years ago. Last night...I was...
The scene changes to the previous night. Luffy's sister Kiki and the Phantom were standing in front of Jacen MiHawk, the blind swordsman.
"Just one kiss, and you can be mine forever Kiki." The Phantom whispered as he ran his index finger under Kiki's chin. The Phantom's adoring gaze changed to an instense glare full of hatred as he turned to Jacen.
"How can you love her if you can't even see her? You can't even see how she stares at me, with those eyes of lust." The Phantom laughed.
"Love is blind." Jacen said simply. "How else can she stare at your face good sir?"
The Phantom roared and lifted Jacen with sound waves flowing from his mouth. The waves sent Jacen careening into the stage. The stage splintered under Jacen, and he fell still.
"It's done. Now, grasp your destiny." The Phantom said to Kiki. They leaned close, ready to kiss. A fist spun into the Phantom's face, shattwering his mask and sending him into one ofthe balconies. The balcony crashed to the ground. Luffy stodd in between Kiki and The Phantom.
"She is not an item!!!" Luffy roared. "SHE IS MY SISTER!"

Re: One Piece Requiem
(OOC: I can hardly remember what happened to Mika in the last episode. I remember the fight and that Sanji rescued her, but I don't remember if she passed out, and I don't have enough time to go read through the old entries SO I am just going to improvise my continuation as best I can and hope it's good )
Mika dragged herself up against the wall, sore from fighting, sore from losing. She could hear the sounds of a battle somewhere. She had no idea where anyone was, if they won or lost.
What should I do... she pondered. She had found her singing voice, but she still wasn't ready to use it freely, or else she would have been talking to herself at this moment. After a bit of debate, she decided to get moving. It didn't matter where, exactly, back to the Ruby Heart, over to the source of the battle, or even explore the general area. She just needed to get going.
And so she pushed off the wall and walked.
(OOC: Sorry it doesn't have much substance but I have no time to write more We need to get more people posting again!)

Re: One Piece Requiem
( .C: It's alright, I don't remember either, which is why i'm doing the whole "knocked out" thing. lol)
Tha Phantom laughed softly, then his laugh grew until it was a maniacle chorus of insanity.
"Not anymore." The Phantom said. "Kiki is dis no more. She has become my Angel of Music."
The Phantom stood and brushed debris off of his red velvet waistcoat. He was unruffled, not a single strand of his greased back hair was out of place.
He dodged the Gum Gum Rocket technique?
Luffy's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
I could've sworn I hit him. Luffy gritted his teeth in frustration, beads of sweat dripped down his forehead.
No...I did hit him. There's no way I didn't connect. And he crashed into the balcony with such force. I guess I'll have to hit him harder. Luffy smirked and pulled the brim of his straw hat low over his forehead.
"Ahhhh! Da da da da da!" Luffy roared as he punched The Phantom with a flurry of well executed hits. This technique was called the Gum Gum Gatling Gun. It had never been blocked, it had never beend dodged. Even the likes of legendary pirates Arlong and Crocodile couldn't defeat it.
The Phantom crashed into the auditorium seats, knocking over some of the candles on the walkway, setting the auditorium ablaze. The fire engulfed The Phantom.
"Yatta!" Luffy said. "I did it."
"No." The Phantom sneered, right behind Luffy.
"I'm the one who's done it."
He took the hit again? How? And the flames...how did he survive? Luffy thought. He replayed the fight in his mind. Everytime he hit The Phantom, The Phantom would open his mouth slightly. Originally, Luffy didn't find this as odd. Plenty of fighters exale the air from thier lungs when taking a blow, so as not to get the wind knocked out of them. But...The Phantom, as powerful as he was, was no martial artist.
Why? Why would he open his mouth when attacked, instead of taking the time to block or dodge? Luffy thought as fear began, for the first time, to fill his heart. Fear of defeat. Fear of losing his sister.
The thoughts were cut short as The Phantom slid a noose around Luffy's neck and lifted him in the air.
"This is the end!" The Phantom roared. "Straw Hat!"
