Nick looked up when she heard a splash behind her. She sighed and turned over onto her stomach. "Damned mutineers." She muttered rubbing the back of her head and surveying her circumstances. "Damn! They painted the raft blue!" She sat up and gasped in horror. "And my clothes! Damn them!" Nick groaned. "They didn't even leave me my pistol! Code Breakers the lot of them!" She punched her raft and regretted it as it swayed with the tide. "This color will make me virtually invisable out here!"
She rubbed her head again and remembered that she had heard a splash and looked up hopefully. "What luck! A ship!" She got shakily to her feet and waved her arms. "Hey! Hello!" She grimaced at the pain yelling caused her head. "Hey! Look at me! I'm the git in blue! I hate Blue!!!!" She continued yelling at the ship as it slowly dwindled in size. "Ah No!! Come back! Some one look at me! I need help damn it! Look at the brainless git in blue! Damn it look at me!!!" She jumped up and down and fell in the water. "Great!" She sputtered and swam back to her raft. "Now I'm a WET brainless git." She pulled herself back onto the raft and stood up again. "Damn." She sighed. "They'll never see me, I might as well accept that I'm going to die out here. Ah well, I always did want to die at sea. Damn!" She shook her head, sat down and began to sing the old songs she had learned from her father at the top of her lungs.

"Given the..circumstance, no I am not, you just worry about tending to yourself, young one. I will survive, indeed." Jacen winked at her with his glowing eyes as he stood up.
He brushed his jagged bangs from his face.
"If you do not have water, pirate. Is there any electricity on this world and if so, where may I locate some?"
Jacen questioned Nami as he stood, adjusting his long black cloak, he took it off and wrung it out, revealing he katana on his back that was decored with an odd tsuba that had a sycle like blade over the top half of one side of the hilt.

A ship appeared on the horizon. It was sailing at full speed, with all of it's sails unfurled, and it seemed to be chasing the Going Merry Go. The ship was small and fast, much like the Going Merry Go, and it carried the mark of a pirate. The black flag that was flailing in the wind had a white skull with one closed eye painted on it in the foreground and in the background were two opened fans framing the skull on the left and the right. As the flag waved in the wind, it seemed to sparkle under the light of the sun. The painted fans were adorned with real rubies. The main sail carried the same mark, and it was also adorned with real rubies that sparkled and shone in the sun like fresh drops of blood. The ship's figurehead was in the shape of a crane's head with two enourmous ruby eyes and a plume of rubies on top. Painted in red on either side of the white ship was it's name:
"Ruby Heart"
The ship only had one crewmember. And as she stood at the head of the Ruby Heart, she noticed an irregularity in the sea out of the corner of her eye. It was barely noticeable, but she quickly took out her retractable telescope and held it up to her right eye over her halfed, dark eye-glasses, focusing on the point where the sea seemed to be out of order. It was a blue sailor on a blue raft!
Mika quickly called out and waved to the sailor, "Ahoy there Bluey!"

Nami glanced interestedly at the sword on the man's back, it would have fetched a hefty price, but seeing as how he wasn't out to steal their treasure she gave up on the idea of trying to steal it. "We have water, but there's no electricity on this ship. And it would take a while to reach some. We're heading toward the Grand Line as we speak, and it will take some time before we finally reach Lougetown."
Sanji had run into the galley a few seconds before and he now returned with a tray of four tall glasses of water. Of course, seeing as it was Sanji who was delivering, all the glasses had perfectly square and crystal clear cubes of ice in them, as well as a juicy, sweet slice of orange placed beautifully on the rim of each glass. Sanji passed one glass to the young girl, one to the man, one to Nami, and one to himself. He took a quick sip of his water before inquiring, "Now, I think it's time for some introductions. My name is Sanji and I'm the cook here on this ship."
Nami introduced herself next, "I'm Nami, and I'm the navigator here. Also, the orange orchard over there," she pointed the the small grove of oranges that was growing, strangely, on top of the forecastle, "Is mine, so please don't get too close to it."
Sanji and Nami both looked expectantly toward the two newcomers, waiting for their introductions.

She took a big gulp of water before saying, "My name is Satoita Shimes. I escaped from my rich family, mainly because it isn't mine, and became a pirate." She smiled for a bit 'til she noticed the other's expressions, especialy Nami's.
"Well I just don't like having everything I want! And plus they were brats!" She noted, "Oh and I love blue and black things...so I like to steal sapphires and black diamonds."
She pet her cat lightly on the head. But soon the cat ran off to someone with green hair sleeping on the floor. 'Is that Roronoa Zoro of the Santoryu Style?' she wondered.

"I..." He frowned. "I don't know who I am."
He drank the water without it leaving his lips, the entire glass but did not eat the orange peel.
"My life and memory began only mometns ago it seems, but this tattoo....I suppose I am known as the Kiri." Jacen rubbed his shoulder.
"What is this Grand Line?" Jacen asked.

Nami was slightly surprised by this question, "Hmmm...wow, I've never had to explain the Grand Line to anyone, everyone knows about it! But since you said you don't remember anything..."
Nami turned and pondered for a moment. Sanji simply gazed longingly at the deep blue sea that was sparkling by.
Nami turned back and faced the man, "Well, from a scientific point of view, the Grand Line is the great stretch of sea that splits the two continents of the Red Line in half. But from a personal point of view...I suppose the Grand Line is where everyone's dreams lie..."

"Oi! You floatin' on the blue raft!" the Captain of the Ruby Heart called over the side of the ship, her red hair blowing in the wind, "I'm gonna throw you a rope, so if you wanna be rescued, ya need to grab hold and keep a good grip while I pull ya in! I'd stop the ship, but I can't lose sight of the Going Merry Go, so this is probably the only time you'll get rescued for a while!"
Mika ran back to the middle of the ship without waiting for a reply from the sailor, afterall, she was the only crewmember and there was no time to waste! She grabbed a sturdy, heavy rope and tied it securely to the base of the main mast of her ship. She then ran back to the side of the Ruby Heart and tossed the heavy rope out. It soared high into the air and gradually uncoiled, until it finally landed nearly a hundred meters out to the side of the ship.
"Good luck to ya!" The Captian called out to the stranded sailor who seemed to become larger and larger as her ship drew closer and closer. All she could do now was wait to haul the sailor in.

"So this one piece of treasure is somewhere out there? In the Grand Line?" Jacen pondered.
"I suppose that sounds like an interesing voyage, besides I don't have much else to do until my memories return....interesting troupe of pirates though. I never thought that two sailors of such kindness and the one sleeping and the three below could be ruthless swashbucklers, but I could be far worse...and I could take to a fine adventure as this." Jacen rubbed his finger on the table and grinned.

Nick spun around on her pathetic raft When she heard someone yell, 'Oi! You floatin' on the blue raft!' It had sounded like. Nick blinked stupidly as the pirate ship she did not recognize came closer and she listened to the offer of rescue with growing interst. As soon as her rescuer had tossed out the rope, Nick dove off the side of the raft and swam for all she was worth, her webbed fingers and toes propeling her faster than any human could swim. She grabbed the end of the rope and wrapped it around her wrist while she dragged in the water, blue paint flaking away to reveal dark coppery skin and flaming red hair. "I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!" She crowed happily.
