A roar almost mimicking a volcano's eruption, and a bright red blast followed by thick pink smoke as Bloke was pummeled with a takusan moeboshi, or 'Many Blazing Stars'. Takusan moeboshi is an explode-on-contact cannon ball filled with hundreds of tiny tabasukoboshi, 'Tabasco Stars', one of Usopp's specialties. However, these tabasukoboshi were covered in spikes so that they resembled tiny sea urchins.
Mika had always admired Usopp's creativity, but she was just as creative and perhaps even more innovative. She had taken the burning effect of Usopp's tabasukoboshi and improved it with the stinging spkies, which created more sensitive areas for the tabasco to enter, ultimately creating her takusan moeboshi.
At the Ruby Heart's starboard side, pink smoke issued from a porthole where a cannon had just recoiled from fire. The sun gleamed on the ruby-encrusted telescope that poked from the porthole, "It won't win this fight," Mika breathed, "but it should buy a lit'l time, heh heh..."

Nami, half avoiding the fighting, and half readying herself to protect her treasures, started at the blast. Not only was the scarlet light surprising, but the blast was incredibly loud. But more surprising to Nami was the origin of the thing.
Never before had the red shimmering vessle that pursued them entered into a skirmish or helped with an adventure before. Not that they had really had any large skirmishes or big adventures lately...it was just that Nami had no idea what to expect of the little ship.
Sanji was less surprised and more worried about the origin. If she could hit Bloke with blasts like that, a second takusan moeboshi exploded with the same intensity as the first, she either had a very powerful cannon, or she was gaining on them. A strange expression appeared on Sanji's face at the thought of her reaching the Going Merry Go. His mouth was upturned in one corner, while his lips flatlined to the other cheek. He began to perspire slightly, and for an instant had the notion to jump overboard and swim to Lougetown...
Not that the girl wasn't just as, or perhaps even more beautiful than many of the few women that he had had the chance to meet, with her wine-red hair, cut into a long silky queue at the base of her skull, and the jagged bangs and lengthy eartails framing either side of her face. The rest of her head was cutely shaved to about a centimeter from her scalp. Her eyes were really very interesting, as it was hard to tell whether they were deep knowing eyes, shiny upbeat eyes, or anything else, for the left one remained eternally closed, and the right was always covered with the right half of a pair of darkly smoked glasses.
Mika was about Nami's height, maybe a couple inches shorter, but Mika was more muscled for sure. In a race for speed, Nami would win, but if they ever came to a fist fight, Mika had the potential to knock her out cold. Of the two, Nami was more shapely in the hips and bust, but Mika was not lacking by any normal standards either.
An interesting mark Mika had was a tattoo on her upper right arm. She had yelled something to Sanji about it as she sailed away on a small dinghey, just after running into him while escaping Nami's horrible wrath. He never got a good look at it.
Why, then, was Sanji so afraid, almost terrified, of the Ruby pirate?
It was her passion. Whenever she glimpsed something she desired, she would hound after it like a starved wolf, ravenously and unyieldingly. Rubies, obviously, were her utmost goal. Unfortunately for Sanji, he had made his way up her list of priorities to second place. He wondered if her could ever escape her pursuit. He sometimes toyed with the idea of going to see her, perhaps all this time she just wanted to chat?
Another takusan moeboshi burst as it impacted Bloke's side, the pink smoke from the last one had just barely cleared. 'If she keeps that up, he'll forget about us and go after her...' Sanji thought suddenly.
Another takusan moeboshi, this time the previous cloud of smoke didn't even have time to thin out. 'She doesn't have any crew on that ship...Nami said that she didn't see any at least...'
Another takusan moeboshi, 'All these powerful men are having problems standing up to this Bloke guy...if he turned on her, she wouldn't stand a chance...'
Another takusan moeboshi, the smoke was getting entirely too thick, even for Sanji. He moved to the stern of the Going Merry Go, closer to the Ruby Heart, only to get away from the smoke he told himself. Despite that, his legs were tensed for action, his body poised and ready to dive into the ice cold sea if Bloke made any funny moves...'Luffy, get down here already!' Sanji held a long breath...

The explosions were all around jacen, the smoke filled his nose and he couldn't smell anything else. The explosions were so loud to jacen that he couldn't hear and since he was gripping the anchor so tightly, his body went numb. He had lost his senses and could no longer hang on.
"****." Jacen said. He let go.
"Gaaaw!!" Bloke growled. Then he licked his arm. "Sauce...for my side dish!" He lifted jacen and opened his mouth, he put Jacen's head in his mouth.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Luffy yelled, he had his fist in front of him as he fell downward. "Eat this!!" he laughed.
There was a huge explosion as Luffy connected and then the dust and the bomb smoke was all anyone could see, it was silent.

The succeeding takusan moeboshi was rolling down the barrel of the powerful cannon when she heard Luffy's voice calling a battle cry. Mika's heart lifted and she whipped around to the porthole raising her telescope to her single eye in the same motion.
'Ha ha, spot on Luffy!...' she chuckled in her mind, her ears were ringing slightly from the previous cannon fire.

'Yes!' Sanji thought, body relaxing just a bit. He let himself sneak a view of the Ruby Heart, but quickly corrected his vision back to the fight at hand.
"Alright! Go get 'em Luffy!" Nami was much more vocal with her relief, and she jumped up once, raising her fist in the air, "Kick that bugger's ass!"

The smoke was too much for Nick, she felt, rather than saw, Jacen let go and she could not hold on any longer. Coughing and choking on the thick pink smoke, she untangled herself from the board she'd been useing as support and dove over the side of the Mighty Haven to the cool relief of the ocean just as Luffy made his cry.

"You think YOU"RE the strongest?" Luffy's voice called from the smoke. "There can only be one!" Luffy drug an unconscious bloke from the clouds about the rubble.
"I WILL BE THE KING OF PIRATES!!" Luffy laughed as he raised Bloke with one arm. "You hurt my crew, my new friends...you destroyed a good captain's ship." Luffy lowered his face, eyes hidden beneath his hat.
"Thanks for the ride, apeman." Luffy's smile grew even bigger. "I'll return ya the favor!!" Luffy slammed his feet into the wood and grabbed Bloke by each shoulder. "It's your turn to fly, buddy!" Luffy twisted his entire body, legs, arms; everythnig.
"Gum, gum!!" Luffy roared. "Windmill!" He recoiled, spinning and spinning as Bloke came to.
"What the..GWAAAAA!!" Bloke wimpered as he spun round and round, then; luffy let go.
"Have a nice trip!!" Luffy called as he stopped spinning. bloke got smaller and smaller and then dissapeared.
"Phew." Luffy grinned. "I'm hungry, I need some meat!! OI SANJI!!!" Luffy called.

"Alright," Sanji grinned as he pulled off his tailored black jacket, "What's everyone's order? Meat baked on the bone for you, right Luffy?" He rolled up the sleves of his light blue, black-pinstriped button-up shirt as he waited for everyone else's requests.

"There's a lot of hungry and injured people here, you sure you want to feed them all without anyone helping you wait on them, Sanji-sama?" Jacen asked. "I'm no cook, but I can carry plates of food if you wish." Jacen smiled.
Jacen reeled back and forth. "I..can help...." He fell over and passed out.
"We need a doctor!" Luffy smiled. "CHOPPER!!"

Nick tread water and watched in amazement at what Luffy did. She followed Bloke's progress as he disappeared and then turned her eyes back to Luffy, her mouth hanging open under the water. "Tha' was bloody brinllian'." She gurgled to herself.
She heard Luffy's cry for food, and then a doctor. With her strong arms, her one leg being useless at the moment, she dragged herself back onto the deck. Seeing that the noxious pink smoke had settled and disapaeted, she hoisted herself over the railing and plopped unceremoniously on her hind end, grimacing.
"Don' you 'ave a doctor on this ship?" She asked no one in particular and looked over at Jacen, not sure what was wrong exactly, aside from the fact that he was lying there unconsious. She tilted her head and her ears twitched under her tangle of red hair.
