No not really, just learning the ropes with this trucking company. Looks like 1-2 years doing local then I come inside the office and do dispatching.

Where is everybody these days (just curious)?

So when did you start? And how local is local? I had a friend at church who drove 4 to 5 hours one way each night, off loaded and drove back (6 days a week).

I don't know where everyone is at, but it seems that all the boards are very slow.

Hi Staybrite, Local is anything within 500 miles of homebase so unless I mess up on the timing I can be home everynight emoticon

Just as long as there are no problems unloading/loading. I helped my cousin's husband one day when I was in highschool, he loaded apples for transport. For some reason both of the forklifts were broken and we had to load a truck with apples one box at a time. Took several hours.
