Welcome to NTC. I see you alot over at the RunBoard Directory and know you see alot of boards so your compliments and/or suggestions really mean something to me.
You can thank dadog for the cross elements and Lesigner Girl on how we got it going .
To keep the simple design look and feel would you say the drop down menus would be better than going with link buttons?
I do hope you drop in again, it's really great to see you.
Re: Welcome Sorry I've been swamped with Halloween requests and requests for Christmas skins. I think the over-all effect that has been achieved is homey & comfortable.
I really like that you have a required amount of forums and not the 20 to 30 that most feel they must have.
You are all to be commended and yes you had help with the initial design and setup but you've taken it so much farther. At this point all I can advise is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
I have been thinking about my board alot (you get to do that when driving several hundred miles a day ) and I have decided you are right. Even if the board grows my leaps and bounds I feel like the current number of forums is about right (though it is tempting to add more since RunBoard makes it so easy to do).
I put in some button links on the left of the cross and came to the conclusion you are correct here as well, it just makes the board look cluttered IMHO so I took them back out.
Sooooo.... unless I know God himself is telling me otherwise I think the only real additions I might make will be in the drop-down menu.
