 Pray For This Brother
This young man is going home to Equador to seek treatment for his mental illness. He sent me a message asking if I were a Christian. I replied and he has sent this:

im so glad to hear those words.
i love god with all my heart, but this depression is killing me.
and i try to stay away from sinning but i keep on doing bad stuff.

Father Dear, I know I have truth in me but it doesn't want to come out. I feel such a burden of responsibility that I am not up to. So, I remind You and me that I am just a vessel and You know what he needs to hear. I will trust in You and the indwelling Lord Holy Spirit to have the words he needs. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

I have seen what depression can do. I have watched families torn apart by it and have seen others just give up and die. My heart goes out to this brother in Christ and I ask for your hand to touch him and lift him up. Dear God, this brother is going where I cannot go but I know you are everywhere and can reach him. Grant us mercy dear God and bring him into fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ who can help him. In Jesus name,

Update: I heard from him again and although he has severe social anxiety disorder he was able to attend church and couldn't wait to share what he had learned and what it meant to him.
I'm so glad God listens.

This really is wonderful news that God has led him to a good christian church so quickly  .

New Update: This young man has started another site in myspace. It's called God and Depression. His first bulletin is "The plan of Salvation" My, oh, my, the enthusiasn of new believers puts me to shame. He already has several participating and his humility is obvious so that's a good thing. Some lost sheep are coming to the board and a few God seekers. There's even a really nice Doctor in her 60's who's participating.
How great is that? There will be lives saved and hearts mended including his own.
