October NTC Voting and comments

Attached to this message is a poll where you can cast your vote for who wins the October Challenge.

Comments about the entries can be made either here or as a reply to the entry itself.

On November 10 I will announce the winner and the prize.

Please God, let there be a odd number of votes so I don't have to choose.

Not to poke fun at you Pastor Rick, but I think that is just hilarious.

One thing I noticed was that both authors seemed to have run into trouble creating a fictional story inside the 250 word limit. By this I mean that after setting up the basic premise for the characters they had little room to develope a appropriate ending. Because of this the November challenge raises the word limit to 333 words emoticon. This will give authors equal space to develope thier premise, action, ending sections to the story.

It's a tie so far so give them both a prize hahaha...

What are the tie breakers by the way (besides your vote)?

Tie breakers eh...

OK, if the vote is a tie then the first tie breaker will be the story that comes closest to the word count specified (for October that is 250 words but for November that is 333 words) without going over. That's the only tiebreaker that doesn't require my vote emoticon
