Connection issues on race day..
I think we should make it a limit/point that if the same person keeps having issues like the other night they will just have to sit out. It took sometime and we still ended up with the same people that could connect all night.

I'm in agreement with suggestion. We try to be fair, as we can not control EA Servers. What a about a 2 try and your out rule per race?
I was having the same problem for weeks until I did the necessesary research and did the following to my router.
It is recommended that you do not play behind a firewall in order to avoid any connection issues. If you wish to play behind a firewall or router you must configure it to allow the following ports:
* UDP 3658 - 3659(peer- to-peer connection).
* UDP 6000 - 6001 (voice over IP).
* UDP 9555 (EA Sports Ticker).
* TCP 31400-31499 (lobby connection).
* TCP 13505 (EA Messenger).
* TCP 443 (DNAS authentication).
Once I opened up the ports on my router I no longer have the connectivity problems. So it is a solveable issue.

Thanks for that INFO Casa....
Buster...I think this would be great INFO to put on main site...maybe a seperate link called ...
connection problems?
or over on the left along with the other buttons...

Thanks for the info... I haven't had a lot of connection problems but I have had a few, so I'll work on this when I get home today.

Yeah good idea might want to get rid of the "Waiting List" section and if there is a opening we can send a message on xbox.

So you want a link going to setup of the router on the main page. Where do you want the limit/Point about connecting more then 2 times. Do you want that in the rules

I don't know if this has been disgusted but I've read on another forum that if you turn off the EA tracker it helps with caution issues. The only thing is everyone has to have it turn off from what I've read.

I think we might of solved this problem. #8 car once he left everything was better. I still would like to know what type of service and the provider he has is.
