Qual and Race Format
Suggestion:
This league will continued to be plagued with lag and connectivity issues for the foreseable future. To mitgate that I would like to propose the following:
1. 15 mins before race time all league racers qualify.
2. The top 8 racers are selected for the main event race.
3. Those remaining could have a seperate race hosted by admin (or someone chosen by admin) to compete for positions/points 9 thru however many race.
This ensures all who want to race can race. If there are 3 or less for the 2nd race then they are auto awared posistion 9 thru 11 (based on qualifying times). Meaning there has to be 4 (or more) available to support a side race for points.

We strive to make racing online work correctly. we cannot control EA servers.
Although Many of us have been in none lag races with up to 12 people. We will try to accept all that we can in a race till the season starts, and try to resolve any issues that we can.
If it comes down to eliminating 4 drivers from a race, we will certainly look into doing that....If it works.

Casa...that is a great Idea !!
I agree with Buster's approach as it is our desire to run the primary race with as many as allowed by EA server.
This is our first major mishap....
But Casa'a idea is great as far as running multiple aces for positions 1-8 and then 9-whatever... that is a great way to keep everyone plugged in especially when we have more than 12.
Let's look at casa's idea with serious intent to implement.

I put a thread out there to run this Bud Shootout before I leave town on Tuesday... I willing to run makeup race on Sunday...or we have Monday...that could give us more time to iron out issues...
Does everyone want to try again tomorrow?? If yes...what time...
I suggest 6 PM or 9 PM est...
