THE Samsung 500 scheduled for 10/20/7
Hey Nuffers...we have a few requests to make this race a weekday race due to out of town committments.
I wish to change this race to Thursday 10/18/7 at 9 PM est. 75%....is that OK??

I don't mind a week night race, but really need to start on time if it's at 9pm est. I live in Eastern time zone and wake up at 4:30am for work. I really prefer the weekend format, since weekends belong to me.
Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

Jeremy that time is almost impossible for everyone on the westcoast. People do have full time jobs and there are people that are going to school here also.
I personally can't make this race on a weekend due to I will be out of town that weekend. I believe we should change races from the weekend every once in awhile since everyone doesn't want to commit every saturday/friday to racing.
There is a lot of people in this league and not everyone is going to get their way it's imposssible!

Not to sound negative but, I was the first one to miss a race due to being out of town and the first race of the season which gave me a big hole to climb out of right at the beginning of the season. I didn't ask for a reschedule, because the schedule was already set and approved. I think once the schedule is set and approved then it should executed as such unless there are reasons which the race could not be ran (eg. Xbox Live is down etc.)
My only suggestion... allow for substitute drivers and then hire one to race for you.

Hey Pooh...that's not a bad idea to have a substitute racer if one is not able to race...happens all the time in Nascar...
And you are correct regarding the schedule. Once it is set...it should remain. TB..I guess with not much support we should leave race as scheduled for now. But pooh's idea of subs is a great one..also would attract racers not in the NRL. I have a few friends who are good racers but can't commit to NRL's schedule but I bet they could race once in awhile.
