Yes, there is...
If the color of the line didnt matter, bristol would have painted it white, 1, because white is cheaper. And yes, big companys are cheap like that.
Passing below a yellow line is not legal, i dont know who told you it was legal but their wrong.
I mean, im only living in NC 10 miles away from 30 Nascar race shops, i mean like, wth can i know.
And buster, show me a race that some1 have gone below the yellow line at bristol, raced on the apron, took a car out, and not gotten a black flag for rough driving, much less finished a race. Hell, show me a race period where someone went below the yellow line at bristol period. You not gonna find it.

Also, white is a more visible color than yellow...
So, again, if the color of the line didnt matter, white because its cheaper, and more visible.

DUDE look it up on the internet you will not find NOT one instant of a yellow line ruling at bristol.....
The yellow-line rule is in effect at Daytona, as well as Talladega, to keep cars from creating dangerous situations by driving on the apron.

i only moved down below the yellow line because u didnt give me any room above it... like i said i floored it out of 4 and we were side by side at the line...and u didnt give me any room going in...
id call that aggressive early as well on youre part...u watch any bristol race and the person on the outside will yield room every time...thats what needs to happen at bristol

the forum is written like and everyone is saying like i was driving all crazy at the beginning...i just tried to execute a pass...and tyber didnt let me...for whatever reason inside 100 laps i really dont know...but thats the gist of it...
i didnt cut the corner going in trying to take him out...thats just crazy

@ Buster, show me these "websites", you can try to justify your friends actions all you want, but its not even worth trying to argue your point. You CANNOT pass below a YELLOW LINE period. Yeah, you wont find it because DRIVERS ARENT STUPID ENOUGH to go under it to make a pass. Do you have ANY CLUE how much the banking varies on just the other side of the yellow line?

Nascar is too picky about the tracks they race at, and the rules they go by. Some1 can get dq'd for being 1/4 inch too low. Nascar, is going to be, "oh its ok, you can have yellow lines and pass under it." that just stupid to even think that. And for you to think passing below the yellow line at bristol is a joke. I want to know what imaginary track your racing at. Lets go side by side into a corner, ill be just above the yellow line, and you can be just below it on the apron thinking your god and gonna pass. Yeah, good luck with that 1. Ill put 1000 on it i come out in front and you spin out.
Ill call you out too. Your wrong.
Till you can prove other wise....
I can argue my point all day wrong, cus I know im right. Im not applying to be a Nascar official for nothing. There is such a thing as a rule book you know.

Look Dude,
I hate to tell you this, but nascar will not DQ for being 1/4 inch to low. They just penalize you.
I know my nascar and trust me! the yellow line rule only goes for daytona and dega.
I will take that bet because you won't come out in front, you end up spinning out after i hit you.....
A second thing. THIS CRAP WITH RATTY AND YOU HAD BETTER STOP NOW. I AM TIRED OF YOU TWO ARGUEING ON THE FORUMS.
