Yeah, guy I spoke with on the phone said they don't know when they'll have the retrofit available to ship, and to check the status on xbox.com. Who knows when we will see it.

ive been reading about this...do we need to send our wheels in to GET retrofitted or do they send us something to fix it and retrofit it? i dont understand this...

I was told the retrofit would be sent to us with instructions on how to install.

Hello all i just want to give you and update about this issue. Months ago, I went to the website and enter my information to get the retro fit kit, and today this what i received from microsoft::::
Thank you for regisering to receive the free wireless wheel retrofit.
We are contacting you to let you know that you will be receiving a pre-paid shipping carton for you to send your wheel to microsoft. the carton will be sent to your registered mailing address, and will contain packing meterials, return, BLAH BLAH BLAH,
You should reived a retrofitted wirless racing wheel within 2-4 weeks of its receipt at microsoft. after the retrofit, you can use the AC DC adapter.
Yeah right i will send it in after the season is over.......this is bull crap!!!!

Yeah, I just got the same letter, which is BULL F'N $H!T.
I have a better idea, why don't they just ship me one, and I'll send mine when I get theirs. Because there is no way in hell that I can race with the hand controller. Why should I have to wait up to four weeks? Let's have a little more customer service.
