I'm not sure. At the very least, Feliz would have to agree to the trade.
POS trade, BTW. Just because we have Zito doesn't mean the rotation is strong enough to start ship off Lowry. The Giants have an above average rotation right now, everything else about the team is below average. Compromising that rotation to add another bat won't make the team as a whole better.

Feliz has a no-trade clause via the standard terms of being a free agent until May 1, 2007. He can agree to waive it.

What a terrible trade! I'd have a serious hard time justifying even trading Feliz for Sexon straight up, let alone Lowery on his own or added with Feliz, because Sexon's contract is so expensive.
What's the fascination with Sexon anyways? The guy hasn't done sh^t for three years, why take a flyer on him for two years and 13 million!

IF we gave up both those guys (Feliz/ Lowry) the Mariners would really need to pick up a lot of his contract.
The only way for the Giants to be on the hook for his salary would be if we shipped off Benitez w/ someone like Sweeney. I may be able to get on board with a trade like that.
IMO I wouldn't dare deal any one of our top 4 starters...if we did we would weaken our only real strength on this team...I would really like to see Zito share some of his knowledge/ leftiness with Lowry...see what happens.
