Albert and Alex will probably be the HR king in 30 years. Both are great hitters and have a ton of power. You also left out Ryan Howard, Miguel Cabrera etc...and those guys have a very good shot at the title too. After this year he wont have the protection so his #'s will drop. The home run record has to do with longetivity... and in my opinion that is the hardest part. I believe Barry will hold the record for a very long time. Look at Griffey Jr. he was supposed to be the guy to take down Aaron, right? Sure thing, right? Wrong. Staying healthy and CONSISTENT over 20+ years... that is the hardest part. " albert and alex have the best shot but they basically have to stay healthy for 20 years. howard has no chance, hes just started too late. If A-Rod continues to play and stays healthy I think he is the eventual HR champ. With 464 HR at 31 years of age and a great shot at reaching the 500 club this year he looks unstoppable. He has ten years with 35+ HR, seven of those 40+, and with players staying in the game longer, remaining healthier and productive longer, if the desire to walk away doesn't become too much, he's the man. --- Yeah, all those things, responsibility, pressure.
