Update Sue Burns has Passed
Widow of former Giants owner Harmon Burns, Sue is the largest stateholder in the Giants and is as devoted a fan as anyone. We have gotten used to her orange outfits next to the dugout in both regular season and spring training, almost every game. Nice lady who loved the Giants, the game of Baseball, and the fans.
According to KNBR this morning, she is in the hospital and is "gravely ill."
Hope she fights whatever is ailing her and gets better soon.

We have reason to be very concerned. The words "grave" and "gravely" are rarely employed in situations that give rise to much hope.

Yeah, it is too bad! She is one of the owners that actually really cares about seeing this team win, and was always a supported of Bonds.. Best wishes to her and her family...

If anyone missed it, on the tv broadcast they just showed a taped 'This is for you - Get Better Sue' message from the entire team - it was pretty moving stuff.
